  1. thanks for your reply steve. wish i could do it myself but wouldn't know where to start mate! Cheers
  2. just been quoted 220 quid for new rear axle bushes on VR6. does this seem reasonable? i'm very far from being an expert on these things (ie pretty clueless really) but that does seem a bit steep, although i understand the work that needs to be done to fit them is pretty time consuming.
  3. Cheers Bigrim, I'll give t-cut a try on it. I usually keep it garaged but left it in the drive under a tree, but I am amazed at how fast a bit of bird crap went to work on the paint. I've only had the car a coupl of months and since then I've painstakingly kept it clean, but maybe I'll have to ditch the turtle wax in favour of a better quality product. After all, there's only so many t-cuts you can do without wearing it away.
  4. Speaking of bird shit, i just came back from three days away to find my bonnet had been used as a toilet by some nasty flying creature. The result is that this acid-arsed bird has left four or five marks that seem to have eaten into the paintwork  Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do about it other than buying a shotgun and getting trigger happy with those tree-dwelling bastards?
