No. It is pure flat all through the rev range. It drives like a 1.1 fiesta....

No luck yet ! Got new dizzy cap and plugs. Guess what (still the same). Could it be possible that it is getting starved of fuel ? If my injectors where blocked would the car still run ?

Thank's to everyone for there help. But unfortunatley still no joy. What else can i try ? Blocked injectors or maybe a dirty air filter ???

Hi there. The car is running terrible at the moment..no power ! When the car is ticking over is sounds like it has only got 3 cylinders. It takes a life time just to get to 60 mph.

Hi andy. cant see any sparks from the ht leads. Or anywhere else. Any more suggestions ?

The guy i bought the car from changed the plugs & dizzy cap in november. Why he never done the leads is beyond me ! My neighbour is having a look in the morning. I will keep you posted. Thank's again for the help..

My next door neigbour has a golf gti 8 valve. Would his leads fit ?

Hi all, please help ? I have a mk 2 golf gti 1.8 16v it was ok yesterday. Then on the way home from work it started to run very lumpy. i.e. 3 cylinders.(i think ) I changed the plugs but still the same. Any suggestions would be great as this is my first gti and i dont have a clue.. thank's to all in advance...
