Check alternator output before fixing everything, your regulator might have gone stick a meter across a 12v supply and rev the engine should not go over about 13-14 ish 8)

A mobile tuner came around and said the resistance was wrong and pointed to the yellow 2 pin thing in side of block and said i need a new one of them!!! :?

Hi all i have a problem on my new 2.0 16v 1992 corrado, The 5th injector does not seem to be coming on when cold hence no choke, i have been told it will be a sensor that sits in the block, it is a yellow 2 pin one! anyone know ant part numbers for this or anything else i can check? :?

Sounds like to me you are sucking air in the in take system somewhere have a good check around all the rubber bellows for rips etc! :mad:

112 is ok mine sits at about 116 at speed on the motorway rises to about 120 max in traffic!! but fan always drops it back!!! i think about 140 is the danger level!!! sounds like you could have a blockage in your water system!! if that is not getting very hot but your engine is, the water pump may be faulty or thermostat!!! :shock:

Hi anyone had this before??? I was fitting a new stereo to my '92 2.0 16v , bugger to get in bit tight but with a little pressure she went in!!! However afterwards the car would not start!!! :cry: The engine cranked but no spark!! anyhow tracked it down to the coil it has lost its 12v +'ve when ign is on!!!! so i ran a lead from battery to coil started fine!!!! however pain is gotta keep disconnecting everytime as it drained the battery when i left it connected for 3 days without using the car!!!so way ahead cut into ign line?run feed to coil is that all that i am missing? HELP please!!!!

just put my 2nd penny in!!! I agree and have been talking to a solicitor about this matter of not buying!!! and legally the court 9/10 would throw it out if it went anywhere near them! it is so easy to pull out, as a slight dent, spot of rust incorrect milage etc etc would be basically different to the advertised condition!! therefore you are not legally bound to buy!!!! because the description was incorrect!!! :D

Bought mine from ebay just a few weeks ago!! at the end of the day never part with any cash untill you have seen the car, MOT, log book and a hpi check is worth the money!!!! :) I was very happy with mine the seller was very honest told me all about the car on e-mail and i was not dissapointed when i travelled 100miles to see it!! At the end of the day you DONT have to buy it!! so what, he may leave a negative feedback for you better that than be out of pocket after buying a dog of a car!!!! :D :D
