anybody know where i can get a fan sensor( 3 pin bottom right hand corner of engine type 2.0 16v) need one urgently as i cant run the car properly and the stealers cant get me one just had to put it on back order which could take forever!

Got pulled the other week for a 'on the spot road worthyness inspection sort of thing' The PCSO called it a sirocco(much to my anger) had a good look round it all was fine ,Then he saw the mileage (267k) so then he had an even closer look round it determind to find something the best he could come up with was, "YOU NEED TO GET THAT RUST ON THAT ARCH SORTED AS YOU COULD SERIOUSLY INJURE A ELDERLY WOMAN WITH VARICOSE VEINS"!! LMAO!!!!!!!!

Mine went missing once, had the police out looking for it never saw it for a few days,Then I got a letter from the council they had taken it cos It had no tax on and was on the public highway, Just to add salt to the wounds when I went to pick it up it had actually gone to a scrap metal yard and was witing to be crushed..The cheeky Bstds! Back to the point tho know how you feel I was devastated!

I know this is quite a common fault but is there anyway of fixing it ,1st is very hard to select it usually pops straight in to reverse which is getin quite dangerous at traffic lights!! some one help me please as i want to fix and sell as i want a vr but tryin to cut the list of faukts down as best i can

Now this sounds like a common fault as there is millions of threads on it but I dont have time to go throught them, Basically the Abs Light comes on and off when it wants too, If i switch the ignition off and on again its fine for a while, dunno if this makes any difference but the car has been at the garage for about two months gettin rebuilt and engine bay re wired when it came out it was fine now its started doing it again I want to sell it so want it fixed!

just looked at your photos im impressed! Ill give that stuff ago, then I can sell it and get a vr haha

As above, My car is in pretty good nick for age and mileage, just the bonnet has faded a bit which I have sorted with auto glym and t cut, but how can I get it to stay like that and stop it from going pink like all vws it lives outside so I just wanna do my best, Any advice?

ill get straight on it cheers, one other thing to mention dunno if it has any relevance, it had a new sensor my bro( mechanic who fitted it) said he ordered the correct part num from vw, but when it came it was just a different colour! it only beeps when i ragg it round sharp corners and i only ragg it round sharp corners to see if it beeps if that makes any sense, it has had a history of the engine going wrong ( I have learnt the hard way) so know the slightest thing I just worry and think here we go again? is it anything to worry about? If I drive normal it doesnt do it
