    When I had mine replaced about a year ago it was £80 +VAT, which I was pleasantly surprised at 8)

    Same happened to minee when the water pump died. Blue smoke was from the belt rubbing on the seized pump :(

    Mini's used to have batteries in the boot too, not that it's a fair comparision :-P
