Ill have the money around the end of the summer so ill deff get it done then, will deff do it how much am i looking for approx is it worth staying with stage 4? or go with any other rebuild? does the r1 sc make much difference?

All sorted now the pipe going into the intercooler had blown off all fixed and goes again nicely thats a relief was kinda hoping it wasnt the supercharger that had gone! And yer ive given darren a phone will look into the supercharger being rebuilt. Is still boosting at 2000 is that normal for a stage4 after 33,000 miles?

2 day woke up got in my car and was driving along to find when i put my foot down it drove like my 8 valve golf i used to have? Literally 2 days ago i was checking boost levels cos ive just bought the sns chip, and the levels were as follows 2000 on redline and idle it was 460-480. Things i have noticed is the sound of the supercharger the whistle has gone it just doesnt make a noise or whistle and no power from it at all? There hasnt been any noise like a bang or anything from it i cant work out why its just done this? Is there a reason does anyone know whats going on? P.s whats strange is my brakes dont feel the same as yesterday meaning you really have to put ur foot on hard to brake well as from yesterday the brakes felt perfect. im confused does anyone know whats going on thankyou

Bought it off a dealer he wanted 3000 for it i gave him my mates fiesta Si which he gave me a grand for so im happy there! Been a VW lover all my life not into the jap stuff im chuffed with what i got but i just held on untill i found the perfect one for me. try not to jump into the first thing i see which is so easy! and dont we all know that lol. I bought it standard looking i bought the suspension coilovers and the alloys myself just adding my own little touch now just playing with the engine now, this could take some time there are so many options? lol

The rims it took me about amonth to decide i needed deep dish with the mirror polished look, cos i had the BBS RM's on my golf and they were mirror polished nice but i needed a change so i found out the blue these Lenso RS5 deep dish 16inch alloys was gonna go for 17's but i like the Euro look im real happy with them do look nice!

Tornado red without a scratch on the car shes mint and im the new proud owner. the pic looks a bit orange but id just washed her would be a better pic after polishing so ill get out there polish the baby and take some snaps! I had a tornado red golf but the poor thing was going pink in places where as this is mint! she has had a re sray recently so she should be good body work! Must admit the forum is full of information its great also was gonna get a haymes manual till i recently discovered they dont make one so the sites great! I always do all my own work to my cars but without the trusty haynes its hard lol but ive gone and purchased the original owners manual from amazon.com at the cost of £90 but im sure its gonna be worth it!

How you go about putting up pics so far just worked out the little pic thing also i have my car clip on the rolling road it produced 167Bhp at the actual wheels which i thought was pretty good considering for gearbox being old doing 120,000 miles? how do i upload pics and vids?

Did take the chip out and it had a Booch chip in it? doesnt sound like a performance chip unless they do performance upgrades? P.s my stage 4 charger has done 33,000 miles since its service so its doing pretty well to be still at 2000 isnt it? Have a friend who drove the car he owned scoobies before said his scoobie would off pissed over mine acceleration but 3rd gear the pull he reckons is just as good i must admit 3rd gear it really does wind up and pull very well its just the awkward 1st to 2nd gear change as it redlines so damm quick but im getting used to it :lol: What should i look for, for when the supercharger needs re building what sort of figures will it read or how would i tell when to have it rebuilt?

Hi everyone thanx for the help im ordering the sns chip well say a lie ive ordered it allready stating i have a 68mm pulley purley on the figures that it produced everytime 2000 comes out everytime so i asumed it was 68mm ive looked again at it and with the depth of the belt it works out about 68mm so thats all good! Awaiting the sns chip and cant wait! I seen both your cars around before in newport, im from Cowes had a nice Mk2 Golf before but sold to my friend, been after a G60 for a long time but been waiting for one that is mint! im happy with the one that ive purchased! Ive lowered it on fk coilovers last week went crazy with it before and had only 5.5cm clearance at the front lowering it 90mm. Looked good but i couldnt drive it without it scraping everywhere as you know the island roads now lowered it between60mm and 70 at front and 55mm at back it drives nice like that! P.S Since ive been driving the car on the island ive had non stop ppl waving at me especially scoobie drivers. flustered have u a few friends with scoobies as your cars red too? Be nice to meet up wiv ya all somewhen! Enjoy!!!!
