Bugger.... too late... ordered a new one off Ebay. £105 delivered.

Before I buy a new set, can someone confirm that if the two outer coils are working and the inner one isn't that means it's f**ked. IE that they all feed from the same wire / sensor. Thanks

ARRGGH ! My VR6 was running fine, then parked up for a month or so, I have come to re start it and it's running on 4. There is no spark at the central coil pack, I assume they can't just 'go' and a connection is dirty or something ? I have removed the end plastic cover and played with the connections and squirted WD40 around... Any ideas welcome as someone is on the way to buy it !

I presume Gav is your partner... which was my point.. I've never bl**dy met one because they have all been snapped up... hence I think they are mythical creatures like unicons ! I have just spent the full day cleaning it inside and out... looks pretty respectable now. Pics will follow... But it'll look like all the others as it's std. Cheers Mark

Just a quick hello and thanks ! I have been reading up on here and bought a VR6 last night. 145k, dark blue, FSH, drives well £2,350 It has the usual faults which I found after reading your buyers guide ! I have found most of the fixes already using the search. Excellent forum ! Mark
