well it doesnt do it unless on full lock really and it doesnt 'always' do it then you have to really wack the wheel over i think im going to use it still but ill jus have to take my time! need my car badly so either way its going to be hard!!!! also any idea of cost>>?

Hi, Recently my car has developed a clunking clicking noise coming from what seams too be the right hand side of the car it happens frequently especially when turning right. I did a search and found out it could be a manner of things so i did what someone suggested on the forum too find out. What was up with her The driveshaft has play in it around 2/3mm is this bad ?? how can it be fixed new driveshaft if so how much money do they cost and is it a possible D.I.Y job??? im a novice though but willing too try if its a garage job any idea of a rough price also recently its been a bit of a pain getting into gear and once was stuck in third for a little while not done it since though Suspension top struts moved down as i jacked up the car does this mean there knakered? i have a set of spax sports suspension would this be solved via fitting them?? good excuse to drop her! also the wheel moves from side to side about a 1/4 of an inch this must be bearings right ? ive ordered some bearings but are they easy too replace?? is it safe to drive it about?? i usaully drive a bit 'quick' shall we say but obviously im driving very cautiosly (sp) now this cars costing the earth! but shes woth it :oops: any help appreciated thankyou

Hi My corrado struggles to start from cold, or basically after its been left 2/3hours or more. It fires but sounds really rough and occasianally pops, it wont idle or start without lots of effort... i.e pedal too the floor turning the key several times then evntually she'll go, but is really rough and is very hard to keep running as she wont idle! Also, she always stinks of petrol. I found that hitting the idle stabilization valve caused it too start and idle fine but this only has happened once and i think i was lucky too be honest, now if i hit the idle stabilzation valve it will seem to strat not idle then die again. I have tried too set the timing up only for it not too start at all with the red wire next too the coil undone and the breather if i take the brether pipe off it just kills the engine. So as you can see, im struggling here !! i think that shes running miles too rich personally, im not sure though but i hope so. any advise appreciated !! please help me sort my car !! I had too drive at 10mph because it wouldnt go and faster till it wanted too today it just sat there sounding like sh*t .. also when shes warm everythings fine! my dad mentioned a maf?? is there one on my car??? **Mod edit-added a few punctuation marks to make it more readable**

yep lol i hope im right in saying its the thing that has the breather pipe connected too it and looks a bit like a big spark plug and has vdo on it?? its just ive only done it once hit it that is as the cars not cold. i think it also buzzes too as when i hit it it buzzed louder!!! sorry for being dumb ! james

the expansion tanks only about 2 months old if that and im pretty suretheres pressure!! lol james

Hi my car has air in the coolant system well i think it has when running the water level is just below minimum then once stopped cap open lit just shoots up over max then back down again gradually its making the water level rise but only slightly any tips on what too do.... the bloke who did my eninge was a real :x :x :x :mad: idiot

ffs went too the garage and now he wont look at it till saturday morning! whats the point in that its meant too be cold! im sick of being pished about! needto sort it myself i think any advice????

is ok rang him the person who swapped the engine set it up whilst it was warm.. so it needs to be setup from cold!!!!! taking it there this evening will have it back tommorow !! tfft cheers

its a 1.8 kr if the timings out im super miffed off ive paid alot of money for the work on this car!!! gutted
