  1. For anyone that can't see the images, photos are available in a zip file from my dropbox account: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59330081/G60%20pics.zip
  2. Sorry for not replying, I've been away. Yes it's still for sale. Images are showing fine for me here. :S
  3. PRICE DROP £1300 Couple of people have PM'd me for my phone number, I have replied but no idea if the message was sent properly. If not, please message me again :)
  4. I am having to sell my G60 so hoping it gets some interest here because I am fed up with tyre kickers and time wasters coming from Facebook groups. J Reg - registered 1992. 117,273 on the clock Red Now, it's been dry stored since shortly after I purchased it as the MOT run out and I wanted to get it completely rebuilt, but getting married, buying a house and having kids put a stop to that. The body is in a great condition overall, few stone and paint chips over petrol filler and along the top of the door frame. Only one spot of rust and that is just under the rear window. No faded paint. No charger history but it was working fine when put away, pulled like a train. Most of the car is original, and I am going from memory here but there are a few issues, most of which are time or typical Corrado issues.: It hasn't got the uprated headlight loom. Sunroof is slightly off its runners but still waterproof. The spoiler was working fine when put away. Engine turns over, but can't start as the fuel hoses have perished. 4 Alloys + alloy spare. will need tyres. Needs a battery. Bonnet release cable has snapped, to open just pop hand under the grill. Push button start. It has an unknown immobiliser and alarm that lock the car when it starts to move. Will need to be trailered away. It's a lovely car and I am heartbroken to be selling it. Loved driving my others and this was always the one I really wanted. Asking for £1400 or near offers. Location: Market Drayton, Shropshire Open to feedback on price etc
  5. If you've not been out in a 350z then find one for a test drive. Awesome cars. Took one out with the wife last year, put £10 petrol in as it was empty and went through the local town. On the other side is a slight downhill long straight road... Yep, floored it in second and BAMM, the dealer place threw off the dashboard and hit the wife in the face, which started us laughing, then she was unable to put it back due to the force of acceleration. I was out maybe 20-25 mins, used that £10 in petrol and broke 120mph 3 or 4 times, and it doesn't even feel like you are doing it. It's my next car :)
  6. Its a 3rd party immobiliser that was fitted after, you have to put a small plastic and metal tube against a contact point before you can start the engine. I have in the past put the complete dizzy from the donor car on the none starter, but nothing, and I was told it would need the timing done, something I know nothing about so put the other one back on. What I will do is rebuild the donor with parts, see if it starts, if it does I will then put all of the parts on the none starter, then see where we are. thanks for the help so far, need to get this running and sold so I can put the funds into getting the G60 on the road :)
  7. Hi all, I've a 1.8 16v sitting under my car port, I've just bought it out of storage where its been for 4 years. It was taken off the road as it just died on me about 3-4 weeks after I'd had it. It had a small problem with the engine revving to a point then the engine faltering then pushing through to the higher revs in this time, then I put £10 of petrol in, drove it the 2 minutes home and it literally just died as I was pulling in to the drive. Now I've got it round at my house I can try and get it started, I have a donor 1.8 16v in the garage that was mechanically sound before the accident. The problem, as far as I can tell is that there is no spark getting to the engine. I keep stealing the battery from our golf so I can work on it, I've put in new spark plugs, stolen the dizzy cap and HT leads off the other rado but nothing. Today I swapped over the black cylinder (starter coil? ) but again, the engine is turning over but is not starting. There is petrol on the spark plugs as I've turned it over and removed them to check. I've got to put in more fuel and get it its own battery, but anyone any ideas on anything I can try? mechanical noob by the way. Is there anyway I can check to see if there is a spark getting through the ignition system at set points along it? It's got an immobiliser fitted too, no idea on make or model though.
  8. What does this do as the cover over my valvers rado is really lose and may as well not be on there!
  9. Is this the glue remover? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Autosmart-Tar-and-Glue-remover-Tardis-Heavy-duty-250ml_W0QQitemZ290464912058QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=214525744176&rvr_id=214525744176&cguid=beb3048b12b0a0aa14f6cbe6ffd1aefe

    Help with hid kit

I wasn't aware there was a HID kit for the corrado, is there a recommended one? I also thought there was legal requirements for having HIDs retro fitted to cars?
  11. I am not an electronics expert but surely sticking a bigger fuse in than needed really isn't the best way to deal with it :D I had this problem on my mk3 golf that was doing this, as mentioned already, it was the indicator or wiper stalk, can't remember which. It was basically burning the metal out. Asked at the garage and the lad behind the parts counter said he had no idea if it was a common problem but one of the mechanics said it was. Anyway, replacement stalk stopped the issue :)

    Black headlining

Might have to do this myself as the roof lining in my none sunroof model is hanging right down :(
  13. Sounds interesting, the door handle on the passenger side of the valver is extremely stiff to open, and then it remains in the out position even when the door is open. Looks like I'll have to figure out who to take it apart and grease it up :)
  14. thanks, I'll give it a try tomorrow :)
  15. It's been sometime since I last did this so not sure. Using the button below the steering wheel should raise and lower the spoiler manually shouldn't it? And should it do it with just the ignition on and not the engine running? Washing the car yesterday and its been standing for 4 years, wanted to raise the spoiler but just wouldn't work and can't start it to test if this was the issue. It was definitely working before it was taken off the road :(
