Bit of a weird one has happened on my VR today. After changing the MAF unit ( the car is so much better now!!) and getting a few miles down the road i noticed that the fuel gauge was reading full? Then when i started to drive hard it dropped down to empty, then went back up to full again? When the needle goes up it kinda jumps in little stages too, not smoothly. I don't think changing the MAF has caused this, it's just coincidence, but what else could it be? Cheers Andy

I recently acquired a VR6 Corrado which had a tatty interior due to the fact that the previous owner used to take his dog out in it!! Before i got the car he had the interior replaced with full leather which is nice. However, there are a couple of bits in the boot area i need to replace. The panels at the side which house the speakers and the parcel shelf sits on have been nibbled by the dog. It appears that there is a leather looking material over the plastic underneath. I dont remember it being like this on my G60 Corrado, are all VR's like this or only the cars with leather? I need to replace the top boot trim too, this is in the same material. Thanks Andy

No not as yet. Although i am starting to think that there maybe a problem with the feed to the bulb as the actual heater works fine. Has anyone ever changed the heater controls. Looks simple enough, just remove and re-attach the cables? Cheers

Ok, i have replaced the bulb and still no luck. Also noticed that the ciggy lighter bulb is not illuminated either. All of the fuses are ok, can anyone help? Thanks

Have also noticed that the valet light on the passenger sun visor does not work either, could this be connected?

I appears that my heater control bulb has given up. Or could it be a fuse? Is this on a seperate fuse to the rest of the console or is it definately the bulb. Had a quick look and could not see it, do i have to completely strip down the controls? Thanks

So if they are different widths, does that mean they will not line up with the rear arches, will they be too short? Does the same apply for the front? Looks like i will be best off trying to find bumpers from the same year car then, just to be safe.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm in the process of getting my '93 VR6 re-sprayed and wanted to source a better rear bumper. Was not sure which car would be best. Seen lots of G60 bumpers on ebay but not VR6. Does the same apply for the front as i have already got a spare G60 bumper? Thanks
