  1. Some lovely shots there Trav, great locations. You should submit some for the calendar comp and forum banner. (btw - where's the fog? :D )
  2. Never heard of them mate, but if they say they're good I suppose you should wander down and have a chat with them to see if they walk the walk. Also Tuning Werkes is in South Croydon, but they seem a bit more into their Golfs and Bimmers. But the owner, Ruben, is a nice guy.
  3. That's how it happens. Have you notice the BBC iplayer goes up to 11?  :norty: He's at it again. :offtopic:
  4. Beats being called a bell end, I guess  OK then, legend.
  5. I've been on the receiving end of some of that, good quality photos too. What a leg end.
  6. the standard suspension is easily high enough! sounds fun! Maybe not P-D, but I wanna go on one of those budget rallies with a beat-up C. It 'would be a good laugh!
  7. Hi Nas, sounds like you're already well on the way to making this into a minter. Top stuff sir. :salute: I've always had a soft spot for Rex-7s too. It was on the shortlist before I bought my VR.
  8. the standard suspension is easily high enough!
  9. do you mean the metal bit the cables attach to? i have a spare of each after i did my box.
  10. Yes there was - she was standing behind the guest's chairs (during the celebrity laps, I think). She was yawning, looked REALLY bored and she had no forehead! Did you see the one behind Clarkson during the celebs? Ohhhhh..... They're right about Audi drivers though, I went for a spin yesterday and all the prats were in Audis. For shame. :nono:
  11. Got back 1st 2nd 5th and reverse by replacing ten quids worth of crummy plastic.
  12. Wattle and daub actually. :D Took her for a spirited test run for and hour and a half just to check everything was working. And yes it is.
  13. Nasty. Can't believe someone would try that with an alarmed car. I dunno if its worth claiming on insurance, depends on your excess and policy really, though as no-one was caught it could harm your no claims. I feel your pain John. But it could have been a lot worse with some of the scrotes round here.
  14. Fixed! Corradude 1 Corrado 0. Though I have to say it is a gash setup. Surely they should have stuck with going straight onto the bracket otherwise this £10 piece of plastic: Ends up looking like this 15 years later:
  15. Sweet, you getting a 2.8 bored out? And what cams are those 262s? FYI a lot of peeps on here are starting to go for the Schimmel 263, there's a gb thread somewhere with gains figures.
  16. Its meant to be virtually unuseable isn't it? They've put so much power in it that it will spin its wheels in most gears if it weren't for the TC?
  17. Its in the Wiki mate. http://the-corrado.net/wiki/index.php/Fan_speed_thermal_fuse_repair Also, in the second picture, it is possible to get those cables off the heater box, just be patient and don't use too much force. I seem to recall I used a flat headed screwdriver to help prise it off. Its getting them back on that's the bugger.
  18. Heh, should have remembered that you have access to every spare part needed. That gruvenparts thing looks the biz, but its 87 bucks! Sounds silly, but I just can't afford that now, so I'll have to do with the VW part, provided it doesn't cost 40 quid! Anyone got a parts number?
  19. Might as well post a few pics I took about a month back, though I have changed the rears back to standard since then.
  20. Haha, it would be if I wasn't now 6 inches from the car infront! I can't move till he does. You are welcome to take her for a quick spin one day for all your help.  :shocked!:  :norty:    :bonk:  :bday: :compress: :joker2: :salute: :notworthy: :thumbleft: You're on. Well, ya did help a lot with pics and stuff when most would have just provided a link to a topic, not that I have a problem with that at all, but its nice to know someone is looking at their car at the same time as you are to help diagnose the problem. Of course I will have to see how you drive first, no crazy lunatics please! (though it is hard not to be a bit crazy with those figures  ) Now I just have to look down the back of the sofa for some cash to buy a new part.....edit - Fixed for the princely sum of a tenner.

  22. What a piece of poo, why did they add in the plastic bit? I wonder if I could just attach it like yours and do without? Hmmm....
  23. My VR looks different to that, but its helped clear up a few things I have also been taking pics. Should look like this without the crack. But looks like this! Thankfully it looks like I'll be able to get away with just replacing the crummy plastic bit. Thanks for all your help ProdigalSon   Jim.
  24. Dagnammit. Though I did find this in another thread, so I thought I'd lump it in here too so I have all the info in one place. With thanks to Cheesewire :notworthy:
