thanks for the offer! the problem is though, that I still need that bolt that secures the insert on the mount :-/
-
great, thanks!
-
i would guess that it protects the insert from weathering. my insert is actually not there, so i'm just looking to replace it, and the covering.
-
If I were to buy a new vr6 front motor mount, could i assume that the parts that I need would be included in that setup? or are they seperate?
-
Oh okay. Any online dealers that anyone knows of that would have what I need for sale?
-
VAG?

Currently the underside of my car looks similar to this: I'm missing that one part of the housing for the lower part of the front motor mount, so the underside of the mount SHOULD look something like this: Does anyone know where I could acquire this part of the housing? I dont' need the insert, but I need that housing, the bolts to secure it, and the bolt that goes down the middle of the mount(I think). Cheers all!!

Do you know of any common placements for them that are concealed?
-
where did you mount your crossovers?

Get my license hopefully on the 9th. I'm 16 now, got my '92 VR6 in late July :D -
What's the easiest way to remove the door card? The door handle seems to keep getting in the way. You can't just remove the plastic speaker pods for installation? Cheers

Hey everyone. I got a pair of the focal 130v2's to fit in my door pods, but I'm having a bit of trouble. I have a U.S. Corrado if that makes any difference. They don't seem to be just dropping right in. And there also seems to be some sort of circuit board behind the ones that were in there(maybe a crossover). What's the best way to install these speakers that you all have found? Do you need to take off the door card or make any modifications to it for them to fit? Cheers guys

Hey everyone. I just got a new amp for my C, and I was wondering where the best place to mount it is? Cheers in advance
-
Okay, I'll check that over, thanks.

I had my system bleed a little, and it seemed to help make my shifts smoother, but I still have to push the clutch almost all the way to the floor to get smooth shifts. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Cheers.

your idle sounds about right tbh......as the C VR6 idles at approx 650rpm +/-50 IIRC.....although its not the smoothest of idling engines at the same time it shouldn't feel like its about to stall....its maybe because you are not used to the engine's characteristics  My engine idles lumpy like everyone else's apparently, but on very frequent occasions, it sounds like it will stall, and then it often does. My engine has ~75k miles on it(swapped at around 50k) and the rest of the car(trans, chassis) has ~125k miles. Cheers.

I just got my oil pan replaced due to an oil leak, and my clutch bleed a little bit, and then I got my car back and it's still idling incorrectly as it was before. It always seems to be idling too low, and this causes it too stall WAY too frequently. Even when I have my foot all the way down on the clutch, and I'm giving it gas and I release the clutch a tiny bit, it will just stall right away. When this was happening yesterday it was really rainy, and someone told me that the problems could be caused by the engine getting way too wet. Does anyone have any suggestions? Does this happen to anyone else?? Do Corrados have this problem in general?? Thanks in advance for all the help! Cheers.

Okay, thanks for the advice :) Someone mentioned in another post (link here: http://corrado.atx-hosting.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=772 ) about a custom corrado sub enclosure made by a company known as SNS, and I was wondering if you knew anything about that. I can't seem to find any company SNS that sells custom sub enclosures.. :? Also, if you happen to know of any other custom sub enclosures out there for C's, let me know. I just liked that one because of the space it saves in the boot. I could always just go with one of those standard boxes :-/ Cheers.

Heh, yeah, I think I'll just stick with the 4x6s, b/c I plan on getting a sub, so the lows shouldn't be a problem. I need suggestions for a new setup for my C: I wanna get the Focal 130v2 set for the door pods and then mount the tweeters either on the dash or in a modified position on the doors, and I want to get the MB Quart dkd 146 4x6s for the back. Any suggestions for a sub and/or amp? Should I look at different front/back speakers?
-
Where do you put the 6x9's that everyone's mentioning? The back pods are 4x6, correct?
-
Are they the MBQ Reference or Discus speakers by chance? The 5.25" components? (I think the discus ones come with a .75" tweeter and crossovers)
-
I found the ones on ebay that some people were referring to, so I'm considering purchasing them. Have other people had great success with them? And what MBQ's did you get for up front? Do you like em?
-
So I take it that these MB Quart speakers are the most highly recommended rear speakers for corrados?
-
Do you know about how much we'd be talkin to replace the slave cylinder? In US dollars if you could. Cheers.
