Just looking at this old post. Need a manual for my 16v 2litre C. How is the passat manual you bought does it cover most things?

Silly question, but is there any point me buying the lyndsay porter manual . I have a 1994 16v, apparently the manual only covers C's up to 1992. What about the Bently manual would this be a better otion. Any help appreciated.

happened to me once, strangely enough on the M1 outside lane pissing down, was driving a montego tank. Very scary being blind at that speed.

ilearnt to drive in a fiat 126 think my dad thought it was amusing. came home from the pub one night to find it on its roof. Best thing that ever happened to it. Dreadful machine.

Recently had my 16v in for its MOT at a new garage as i have recently moved house. Failed due to lots of play with the front top mounts. When the mechanic changed them turns out they were very worn. I had only had them changed (apparantley) in sept by my previous garage, who has charged me for new mounts. Had it in a few times last year for various faults and it always had to go back a few days later for some other fault. Does anybody know of an honest mechanic in Preston who appreciates the cost and care devoted to my beloved corrado. Had to take it back again yesterday due to some heavy knocking from the front wheel area when wheels on full lock. Garage said he had corrected it apparantly the monts not sitting right. Dove it home earlier and it is still doing it on right side. Also pulling a lot to the left. N E ideas? :x

NEED SOME ADVICE REALLY. PURCHASED MY CORRADO LAST YEAR, NOT KNOWING A GREAT DEAL ABOUT THEM. HAVE BEEN TOLD THE FRONT SUSPENSION HAS BEEN LOWERED, WHICH IS OK BUT WILL INCREASE MY INSURANCE PREMIUM. CANT CONTACT PREVIOUS OWNER (MAYBE HE THINKS I WANT MY MONEY BACK). HOW CAN I FIND HOW MUCH IT HAS BEEN LOWERED OR HOW CAN I MEASURE IT. ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED. :oops:

replying to your sunroof problem in july. mine having similar trouble now did you manage to fix it? have had the whole unit out and looked at it for a while before putting it back badly. it now has a bigger gap. any news will be much appreciated. cheers

Can anyone help before there is a monsoon. My 2.0 16v sunroof is dipping down on passenger side. Took it out and it appears that the left runner mechanism isnt working. I understand sunroofs are a bit of a common fault on the beloved corrado. Can anyone give me practical advice. Do i need to replace it . It doesn't appear to be capable of dismantling. I heard a passat tilting sunroof fits?
