Getting mine done very soon vw specialist garage 2 hour job going to cost £90 including vat i am surrplying bushes 8)

fine handling feels a bit stiff when i turn to the right really need to get this sorted its, not stiff when first turn but it just feels difrent not in a good way

cheers for that tempest looks like i am going to be getting yellow pages out and ringing about, called to a mr tyres yesterday looked at me like i had two heads can do it if you raise it back up kind of defeating the purpose :roll:

fitted suspention yesterday dont think i have got the camber right were is the best place to get it set up ?lowerd 40mm well so i think bought second hand of ab standard shocks lower springs

Did mine today and my topnut was a 22mm walk in the park to do the rears bit of a bugger to get the nut off the fronts well tight so all in all a good day can anyone confirm when you tighten the nut back up shoul the cup still move tightened as far as it seemed or does it need tightning some more when you move the cup it moves the piston forgot to check before i changed stuff over :roll:

what was the socket set labeled as on the box may have a look around on net see if any still knocking around sounds very usefull 8)

okay going to have to make myself look like a idiot again looked on seach for suspention everything fine but how the hell do you get the top nut off while holding piston with allen key is it speical socket been to halfords at others car shops nobody got anything there did find a set of box spanners but not a 21 help :oops:

was thinking the same for mine except was going for 2l convertion engine dont smoke even if you boot it but it stinks terrible smells like oil then sometimes like exhaust posted thread but had no joy with help thinking may get whole engine start rebuild so if old engine goes straight back on road 8)
