could anyone tell me of a thread or write up which shows how to relocate the indicators to the headlights? iv done a search but cant seem to find anything, im sure iv seen one on here before? any info on this mod would be handy as not really sure where to start, thanks

In the end i took it to a guys bodyshop and asked him to trim the lip down as didnt want to risk making a mess myself. He rolled it slightly and grinded away some of the lip however my tyres were still rubbing :x . That was only £80 so not to bad. I then bought some spring adjusters off the internet for only £20 and they have worked absolutely perfect. I can now easily have 3 people in the car with no rubbing at all and it still looks very low!

thanks i wasnt to sure if the clips were that essential, they dont look to do much as the injectors were very hard to pull out without them on. Just wondering if i should maybe upgrade them though, prob wont have cash for a while but i could do with some advice in advance. cheers

eventually got round to putting in a kr inlet cam today and was hoping to put the 50mm inlet manifold on aswell. When i eventually got the injectors out i realised the ports they go into were different between manifolds. :mad2:. The ones on the 42mm one have clips holding them in and ports on the 50mm have no slot for the clips to go, also the ports seem wider for the injectors on the 50mm inlet. The 50mm came off a mk2 golf, was that a bad idea getting it? or should i buy injectors for a golf? Was also thinking about higher peformance injectors or should i stick to standard? when i built the engine back up i put the throttle body from the golf on as it had been knife edged and flowed however when i started the car up it didnt idle the revs just kept going up? there was a hose attached to the corrado throttle body but there was nowhere to connect on the golf one, could this be the problem? thanks

should i replace all the bolts or will the ones already in be ok?

Does anyone know what the torque settings or have a diagram for the sequence of doing the the cylinder head bolts for my 2.0 16v? Would buy a manual but running on a very tight budget and need to get the headgasket changed and kr cam in. Much appreciated if anyone can help.

Slimg60 - cool il give that a go once the rain clears off just so i have a bit more room to move around. coolrado- yeh i just had another go at the lock but the slots in the horizontal position, iv pushed it in but it just seems solid and scared il snap the key if i force it anymore. its very strange because it worked fine up untill that day when i wasnt working anywhere near the boot it just decided not to open.

was at a mates getting a few things done on the car then went to put toolbox and jack in the boot and it wouldnt open? :scratch: . i have done the obvious like opening and closing the central locking, trying the key in the boot but its totally solid. Do i maybe need a new lock or is there a way to open the boot from the inside? cheers

yeh i looked at 9x16 but glad i never bought them as theres no way they would have fitted without raising it. cheers for all the help can i just ask how much yours is lowered by?

is that what you have had done mate? with the wheels on it sits quite the same as yours does. Does yours rub at all?

just bought some 7.5" x 16" et20 alloys but the guy who i bought the car off had it lowered 90mm all round. I tried on the back two wheels this morning and found that even without spacers i couldnt fit my finger between the arch and the tyre! i reversed out a little to see how bad it was and it was very bad, constant scraping :mad:. Was just wondering if anyone was running this size of wheels and how much theyd lowered by, or if rolling the arches may be more cost effective? cheers

Hi im trying to remove my ecu but there are two strange washer type things which i cannot get off? Could anyone tell me how to or know of a guide i could use? cheers pics of ecu and white clips.

hi just got my first corrado, 2.0 16v, bought it down in carlisle as it used to be a project car for aurora motorsport, mainly bodywork they changed. Im looking to do some engine work on it but dont know to much, see that kr cams seem to be recomended so think il try that if i can get hold of some. Anyone got some lying around?
