I've seen kit descriptions with diameters of 190, 210, 211 and 228 mm, what about those? I have a German VR6...and I'm planning on getting a new kit. any suggestion? Thanks MM

I'm having a warm engine restart problem as well. My VR6 will start almost perfectly from cold, but once the engine has been running and I stop it, I must either start it again within 3 minutes or i'll be doomed to wait an hour or so until it is cold again. If I stop it and try again after 10 minutes it just won't start. Other symptoms: rev gauge fires every now and then when starting engine is turning. Engine acceleration is bumpy between 1800 and 2500 rpm. Also, I've had times engine won't go over 1000rpm...Why is Temperature a factor here? thanks for your advice...

Thanks for the welcome. As for my request, I tried 3 different local dealers and they just won't go through the hassle for a single customer, best delivery time offered: 3 months! :mad: Absurd. I however have a friend in Spain who's coming in three weeks,so I'll try to contact German VAG dealers...my concern is if they'll be able to deliver in time before he leaves...I'm not quite sure local Spanish delaers will carry the part, though..any recommendation is welcome.

Help needed. I have a 1994 german VR6. Did all the engine but haven't been able to find the piston ring set (2.9L, 82mm). All I could find was the North American version (2.8L, 81mm) which won't fit, or a complete kit including six pistons I don't need. :( I'm located in South America so I need a worldwide supplier that will take my international credit card.
