Hi all, bit of an issue with my Mk3 GTI the clutch has stopped working. Thinking it was just the cable had snapped when to remove it to find that the small metal tube the cable sits in on the pedal has snapped off instead! The pdeal box looks like a nightmare to remove do you have to take the dash out to remove the paedal box as it all look contected the to the steering column! Any hints/tips/phots would be welcome! Thanks

Hi all hoping someone can help! I have been carrying out a head chnage on my 16v and got distraced with other projects while this was taking place. I have forgotten in which order the camshaft bearings should go on. Got the main end ones sorted but its the ones number 1 to 8 which have thrown me. Can someone either let me know or supply a picture of the correct layout/way round these should go on ? Thanks Andrew

2.016v 9a engine mechanical milage counter (93 on a K)

Morning all got a small problem which started last weekend, my rev counter seems to stick when the engine is cold (blip the throttle nothing happens drive up the road bring the revs higher it works back off the throttle and the needle stops were it is). When the engine is up to temperture it works fine not sticking. Any ideas ? Cheers Andrew.

Hi all having no end of trouble trying to get a part number for the coolant temperture sensor for the ECU on my 2.0 9A engined Corrado. VW can't find it ! its the two pin clear plastic one on the side of the head with a about a 15mm nut ? Any ideas ? I have attached photo from another link on the forum

I use to have a GTI engineering RE 2.0 16V engined G plater which produced 170 bhp. That was good for 145 - 150mph.
