Hello All, Bit of a stupid one this but have to ask as I aint got a clue, how do you reset the MFA to zero before your about to start a new journey as mine wont reset, I thought if you held in the button for more then a few seconds it would set the trip to zero but no. So can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong here?

Hmm.. thats funny when I went in to GSF Reading they quoted that they do not sell any specialist VW tools, looks like a halford trip on the way home to get a bent pair of circlip pliers then. Can anyone tell me the GSF part number for the tool seeing as though they are supposed to sell it??

I need to nip up the bolt and hold the tensioner, also what is the webby for snap on tools and is this a UK or US site, plus is the full tool collection avalible via mail order ?

Hi All, Has anyone got one of these or know where I can purchase one from? Ideally can you post links and part numbers for one of these please, as I do not really want to have to make one up as I am running out of time to get my car finished. Thanks to all who reply.

Hi Stormseeker, Cheers for that I have printed off the details and once I get the car finished and up and running I will give it a go, Great site another one to add to my list of useful resources. I will post my results once i get the conversion done. Thanks

Hi all, :D Sorry to start this thread off again, but I was wondering if (H100VW) are you still doing these Loom upgrade's?? If so how much are they as I would like one off you, what else do I need to do to upgrade my beams or is it just loom and bulbs??, Please mail me the details or post on here. mailto:[email protected] Or if anyone else has done this and according to most posts here its an easy mod, if it is that easy can you post instructions on what to do and what is involved, so I could do this myself? :!: Thanks to all in advance who post.

Hi Guys, I will post a couple of mine but I warn you now its a mess LOL, she is in peices I am taking the supercharger down to John (16VG60) this weekend to get it sorted with a rebuild and stage 4 tune up. I have also just put in a VR6 Clutch to take the extra power, and I have a full set of discs and pads to get bolted on so me work is cut out but thats what you get from a previous owner who did not look after my new found german baby. Unfortunately the pic in my signature is a nicer one than mine and I have a white G60. Give me a couple of days and i will do me best to get a few shots put up here for you all.

:D Hi All/Cheesy, I saw your car listed here: http://www.corrado-database.nl/index.ph ... ado&id=324 and I have fallen in love with the look of the BMW E36 Headlight conversion you done can you post here what you had to do and what mods you carried out as I would love to get this done on my corrado G60 as they look fantastic. Please post pics if you have them, and instructions on what i need to do, unless there a straight fit? be amazed if they were. Thnaks in advance.

:!: Hi All, Can any one tell me where I can get a 68MM G60 G-Ladder pulley from? and how much these cost, please post a link to a website here, I want a good quality one too, thanks.

:) Hi All, Just to let you guys know I got me clutch replaced for a VR6 one, it is almost identicall other than the clutch plate tensioners as they are thicker and look a lot stronger, other than that and including the thrust bearing its the same, the clutch plate is nice and thick too so should last a few years hopefully even with 200+ HP going throught it, I highly recomend that if you are going to replace the clutch on your G60 then fit the VR6 one as the one I took out doe's not look anywhere near as tough as the one that is going in i.e the VR6. Finally if the VR6 produces 190BHP in standard configuration so naturally you would expect this clutch to be better than the G60 in standard form. BR F

:-P Thanks Toby, I spoke to GSF and they also confirmed that the VR6 is a straight fit so I have asked them for one, luckily for me they supplied me the wrong one to begin with by accident  so I had to get this changed anyway, you were also right it is a cheaper one than the G60 unit. I can't thank you lot enough, this forum is such a valuble resourse of information.

:!: Hi Guys, Thanks for your input so far, I am wondering if anyone can confirm that the VR6 clutch fits straight onto the G60 Lightened flywheel if so i will go for the VR6 one if this is a better clutch. I found ridgeway and they quote a price of £80 for a new lightened flywheel replacement so I have left a voicemail for them to give me a call. If anyone can let me know if the VR6 will fit it would be much appreciated. Doe's anyone also know if the main crankcase oil seal behind the flywheel is common to go as i might replace this too as I am in there at the moment. Again thanks to all who reply to this thread. BR Roger.

:!: Hi All, I have my Corrado G60 J-Reg appart at present and I am replacing the Clutch due to previous owner neglection, and I have some question's (1) Is it worth taking off the flywheel to get this lightened and balanced ? (2) If so where can I get this done (I live in Basingstoke)?, (3) What's the benefit of doing this ? (4) And what sort of pricing am I looking at ? (5) One other thing, what is the maximum power the standard G60 clutch can take? Message to John 8/16VG60 cant remember which alias you were, if you still active on here can you give me your number as I would like to speak to you regarding getting my charger rebuilt and ported and chipped. You might remember me as you helped me out when I bought some lowering springs for me G60 and I gave some beers for doing so, A lot has been happening so I have not been around for while so please post your details to me hotmail account (mailto:[email protected]) if they have not changed then just let me know on here as I still have your old number. Thanks again to all who reply to this thread.

:D 8) Hi All, Just to let you know that John done a superb job on my car, getting the stuts off was easy and the fronts came apart as expected, we still had a little trouble from the spacers off the rear struts however, but the main man got them off for me and we managed to sit the corrado a lot lower than before. A big thank you to John for his precious time and hard work, and also for taking me out for a spin in his modded corrado (FF I might add). Also A big thank you for all your support with this thread. Respect is due, get yourselves down and see John great chap and knows whats he is doing. Happy Modding!! :D

 Just to let you all know i got this problem solved I had to remove the dash and clock faces and noticed that the metal bar that moves the needle was not inside a slot which is located underneith the needle hence when the current was flowing the bar would move but the needle would not as it was not inside the cylinder that actually moves the needle in the first place. If any of you ever take a dash apart and look behind the temp/fuel gauge you will see exactly what I mean as it is difficult to descirbe.

 :D Hi 16VG60, have you sent your details to me mail? can wait to meet up already sound like a fantastic chap to help me out. BTW I think the lager thing spreading is now getting out of hand , however I think not a pub for a 20V converstion more like a Complete Brewery would suffice lol.
-
 :D Hi 16VG60 can you give me a contact number and address for yourself, also not to sound too cheeky as your offer to help me with me rears is bloody fab, but how about if I was to get the struts back into the car and drive it over, seeing as your close that I was wondering would it be possible to persuade you to get you to help me fit all four springs at your workshop seeing as you have the facilities? and in return for your kind generosity I will supply you with some beers for your trouble, let me know asap and Ill get over to you asap. You can mail me your contact details and address if you prefer instead of posting them here my e-mail is as follows: mailto:[email protected] Many Thanks

Ok, yesterday was a bad day, I am only at the point of actually having the rears out as yet and these I can not even get the metal spacer to turn on the thread as the damper is spinning, Can you tell me the exact tool that is avalible from halfords for the front stuts and maybe part number if possible as I do not want to touch them unless I have all the tools required. Is there a special tool to get the rear spacer off? somebody mentioned a tool that holds the shaft while you unscrew it, again what tool is it and whats the part number? Lastly what do these bonrath lowerin top mounts for tha little bit extra do? as the springs I bought are supposed to lower the car by 35-40MM will these then drop it more and if so will the tyres or anything like that start to rub? one more thing where can I get them from? lots of questions but a big Thanks guys for all your help so far. BTW the model I have is a Karmaan 1991 G60.

Hi All, I have just purchased some new lowered springs and am trying to fit them what i need to know is on the main strut assembly there is a spacer on the damper shaft just above the coil spring (Metal sleve) is this actually a clearance fit over the thread of the damer or is it actually threaded itsef onto the damper as i can not seem to remove it to get the spring off. I am wondering if it is just corroded onto the thread or if it is actually screwed on at production? Any ideas?

 Chuck have you got a part number for the head temp sensor please m8? I will try this one next.
-
 Well i replaced the blue sender apparently this is a temperature sensor for a Corrado with a cat fitted but as I changed the other one I thought i would change that too, this still has not cured the problem. The gauge was broken when I collected the car and yes I have a Corrado G60 1.8 supercharged version with the PG engine in it. I will have to look at the side of the head then next and see if this sensor does the job. Anyone else come across this or managed to fix it with the right sensor?. All I know so far is that replacing the black one on the hose stops the temp light from flashing if this comes on and there is nothing wrong with the car i.e overheating. My temp gauge needle just sits on the zero line and does not move.
-
 Hi All, I am having an issue with my corrado and the temperature gauge, I have seen on the forum somebody else with the same issue and that it was suggested that they change the sensor on the top hose close to the engine the black 2 pin one, I did this which cured the flashing temperature light which was on all the time constantly flashing but the gauge is still not reading at all. I have also noticed that there is another sensor close to the one I changed which is blue is this one directly for the gauge or not and if not what can I check to get this gauge working again, all other dials are fine. Thanks in advance.
