nope no noise now its fcuked!!!!!!

got my subframe from "volks-apart" delivered to my house 2day..... cost me £94 in total, (£30 delivery fee).......... getting her towed to the garage next wednesday..... also my cv joint has popped out my passenger side wheel... where the subframe gave away...... has this got anything to do with me not having any gears?

First my handbrake cable snaps 2nd my subframe rots away, so it ripps apart whilst im driving, and the passenger side wheel smashes against my wheel arch 3rdly i have a puddle on the back floor, drivers side.... 4th......... Now my FCUKIN sunroof wont tilt down, it wont move, period.... so i have covered the interior with bin liners, and sealed the sun roof with even more bin liners to prevent rain coming in2 the car.. I bought my car for 2k........... the guy must be laughing!!!!!!!! (cCcK!) Any advice please? Why isnt my sunroof working.... how much will it cost 2 repair............ I have been interested in moonroof conversions........... Regards!!!!!!

ello fellow dubbers... sumbframe being ordered soon, need to get my C towed 2 a garage 2 get it sorted... Ive just noticed my front splitter has a crack... or a split even..... are splitters easy to mend???.... can it be repairable.... help please Regards!

cheers mate. ure correct, my car is facing up hill! my roof is drive and ive checked everhwere else, im guessing one of the membranes is torned on the drivers side..... will have 2 get it checked when i get her towed to the garage regards!

ello fellow v-dubbers my g60 isnt feeling too well at the moment... she has suffered a rip to her subframe- now she is starting to get damp. my car is on my drive, which is sloped, i went 2 check her quickly, i tilted the drivers side seat foward, and to my suprise, on the floor... there is literally a puddle of water... i know this is a bit of a stupid question. But is there a cure for this? on how to get rid of it etc. I would appreciate the advice rEGARDS!!

ill try my best. my g60 is ill, the handbrake has gone, gear box is pissed i think... or maybe the cv joint has disconnected... but it will be another 6 weeks till i get back on road. Ive had her for only a month aswell. :(

ive managed to source 1 from a vw breakers yard in south london for 60 odd quid. Now to get it fixed....

im worried about the labour. im not too technical with the mechanics. Would a golf mk2 subframe be compatible ? or a Vr6 subframe?

Hello fellow dubbers, yesterday i was driving my g60 and my steering went all funny, the car started 2 drive in different directions i managed to gain control and pull into a quiet road. I got out the car and saw that the passenger side wheel was slightly out and my drivers wheel was straight.... i carried on driving to park it up, and on the passenger side all i heard was a filthy clonking noise, then my car came to a stand still, i tried to reverse it- but to know avail... all the gears are not working. I come out the car and the wheel has smashed my arch, we jacked the car up, and my friend and a mechanic said it was my subframe that was nackered because of the rot... it had snapped. I am in a prediciment, financially also, as i have no gears and the car is not drivable- i will have to get it towed to a garage. Has anyone been in this situation? I would appreciate all the advice given.... Is she worth repairing? i don't want to scrap her! Regards

just bought my self a red G60... few bits of rust here and there... nothing massive tho... runs sweet too! Quality car! boosts propa in 2nd 3rd 4th... even pulls hard on 5th!! IM happy!

Forum members... Nugget Yellow Corrado G60: MHR 770P If so... would be great to hear from you!! as i spotted it in January 08's issue of PVW page 127! That actual corrado was infact owned by my brother from the year 1992 or 3, and he then sold it to a black guy who also had a silver vr6 in 1997.... so it was quite a shock to see that it was still about when i saw it in the magazine!!!! I am going to try and scan a picture of it when my brother owned it, with a roofrack and a box on top lol, front splitter was stickered up with "MICHELIN, NGK, CASTROL, CAMEL" and various other stickers. Anway would be great to hear a response CHEERS!!
