Does the gear nob some of a Corrado VR6? If so, how? Cheers
  2. Looks like the house sale may have gone tits up, so I may kepp the corrado for a while. I've been thinking about a new set of rims but haven't got that much money. I have been offered a set of 17 inch Wolfrace Voodoo's and a set of 18 inch RS4 wheels. I have been looking at these - http://www.topgear.co.uk/acatalog/4x_15 ... _tyres.php I think they would look good as my rado is silver, what do you think?? Cheers
  3. Has anybody got any pics of Corrados on 17inch Wolfrace Voodoo's? Thanks very much
  4. Hi everyone A couple of years ago I bought a satin Silver 1.8 16v. I spent thousands on this car. Full respray, rebuilt engine, borbets, miltech, konis and it was stunning. I got bored because of the lack of power. I bought a 106 gti (foolish, I know) but have now sold that. I was looking for a new car when this car caught my eye - Corrado VR6, Satin Silver, mint condition, 77K FSH - so I went and bought it. I love it!! It now has a cat back Scorpion stainless, GAS shocks lowered 35mm, and FK de-badged front grille and a set of 17 inch RH wheels. I will get some pictures posted as soon as I've polished her. Furture plans - Red rear lights (if anybody had any for sale??) remove side rub strips. Paul

Has anybody replaced their standard black dials for white ones? Is it an easy job to do and does it look good? Thanks very much
  6. I got quoted £70 for my wing mirrors to be done. I expected a lot less. hoped for under £50. How much would you expect/be willing to pay?
  7. I have 16 x 9 borbet C's on the rear of my rado. You will need to get your arches rolled!
  8. lol, I want them all off so I'm gonna get them of no matter what!!! My knick name was that all throught school (still sort of is) but Paul was already used on her so went back to youngy! lol
  9. Happy days, I'll give that a whirl this weekend then. Also, not sure if anybody else has this but there is a black stripe that runs down the full side of the car. Is this easy to come of with a hair dryer/heat gun? Thanks very much
  10. Hi people This is my corrado in the pic if you follow this link (crappy pic, doesn't do car justice) http://www.xlr8.co.im/Gallery/p17_secti ... mageid/949 I want to remove the rub strips, the black sticker line that runs right down each side of the car and the black vw decals on each door. Will this be an easy job? what is the best way? (using a heat gun) And will it look smart? Ta many
  11. I have just bought a new set of wheels for the corrado. They are badly kerber but the tyres are good and the rear ones are wide as!!! 16 inch Brock B2's - how much are they worth?? I managed to get them for £100!!!!! They are going to the garage tomorrow morning for a couple of days where they all get a nice refurb!!
  12. Sorry mate. not a clue. The wheels were second hand of a mrk 2 golf gti. assumed they'd be 4 x 100 ET 35 - I am also unsure as to whether they're rubbing on the inside or out. I can't imagine it being the outside though. It doesn't sound that bad so I'm guessing its not that serious. I hope not anyway.
  13. corrado last night. It is lowered 40 mm and the back wheels are 16 x 9. I have fitted spacers but I can here them rub slightly? is this serious?? The arches have been rolled aswell. Ta many

    Wheels

Pls help, I am after a new set of wheels for my Diamond silver corrado. It has been lowered and is currently sitting on some old BBS 17 inch rims which are knackered. Ideally I would like 16 x 9 Dezent C's, but the ones in the for sale section have been sold. I would go for either 16 or 17 inch and have up to £800 to spend. Any ideas? Decent web sites etc...? Thank you Paul

    Help please -

Firstly, there are two sets of lights which I would like for the satin silver corrado but not sure which ones - all red ones (probably preffered) clear on the bottom and red on top which ones would look better on a silver corrado? (haven't seen too many) also, If i were to go with the red ones, how can you acheive this without buying new unites? cheers

    Wheels

To be honest, am not sure what the BBS wheels are called. but I'll try and post some piccy's up, but it's so hard trying to decide on some wheels for a silver corrado. Was thinking balck wish a polished lip but the back lights would then look funny :?: So, even though Xbones says no, the best I can thik of atm is voodoo's!

    Wheels

I am stuggling to find many satin silver examples. The wheels I want to put on her have to be perfect, I've spent nearly 2 and a half grand in the last 3 months getting my corrado back to good condition from the state it was in when I bought it, all it needs now is a nice new set of wheels. I was also thinking about 17 inch Wolfrace Voodoo's.
