So I was driving around normally, engine was warm, then endined revv'ing up a bit in 1st and 2nd gear a couple times when suddenly as I was crusing the engine started to loose power and sound like a tractor. Hopefully I was just about to arrive home. I let the engine cool down then check the spark plugs, nothing worse than usual, I clena them a bit, start the engine, same thing... no power sounds awful. I leave the card for the night morning after it starts normally, it drives normally for 100 meters then same thing. I have to go away for the weekend so no time to look at it. The following week I start it and all is smooth, engine runs fine for a couple days then again same crap happens! I decide the change all the spark plugs and it doesn't do anything. I eventually decided to unplug the ignition cables from the ignition coil one by one and found that when plug 3 or plug 4 are disconnected the engine doesn't get worse. So basically no electricity is sent to these plugs! Anyone with an idea to what the common denominator is? may be the connector on top of the ignition coil or may be the Camshaft Position Sensor and/or its connector? Any suggestion welcomed.

It's crystal clear now. Thanks. I'm interested by the relay setup you mention because I'd really want both beams to work at the same time when the main beam is on. What relay is that? (Type/Number) and where do you install them? Thanks for all the info you've provided and sorry to comeback with some questions once more.

To be clear, I just have to slide (rotate) fully the deflector along the slot? As shown on this picture? Would you say that it's set for LHD on the picture? Alsom, just in case, what did you use to extend the adjusters?

I've now opened it completly but I'm really not sure what change. Do I need to rotate the hole beam unit 180 degres? So that the deflector is now at the top? That sounds odd to me. Here are a few pics of the right headlight seen from the back Anyone can tell me what to do?

Never mind... got it! :) I'll post some pics and explainations later.

Hi I just got some Angel Eyes from Germany. They are set for LHD obviously. I need to swithc them to RHD. In this post viewtopic.php?t=55368 I've found the following instructions. - open the light just the same as the OE ones with the metal clips around the edge - take the main unit out of the case - on the back of the main beam there are some little tiny screws and one of these is adjustable - undo the other screws (I cant remember how many now) and loosen the adjustable one - then turn the main beam unit in its housing (I also cant remember which way to turn but there’s only one way lol) I'm not too sure how to "take the main unit out of the case" , I've fully unscrewed the screw that adjust the left/right angle so one side of the main unit is completly free, but the other side seems kinda clipped in. I don't see any obvious way to pop it out and I don't really want to use brute force. I'm sure someone has done this before. Any suggestions? Thanks Doracor

Quick update... after working few hours for 3 evening I got all the dash removed and everything ready to remove the heater. I finally did this today but I ran into one snag: the nut below the heater hoses in the engine bay would not come out. The whole screw kept on spining with it as I was trying to unscrew it. I tried different things to lock the screw and try to remove the nut but nothing. I had to resolve myself to grind it completly using a dremel! Seperating the heater from the AC last thing to do. The lower clip was the hardest to remove. The 2 at the back popped out quite easily. As I worked along removing all the parts, I realize that a 3 screws were missing here and there, and who ever install the autoradio was a pig. Also, one screw is missing on the top of the heater box. I suspect that the heater must have been replaced already. I'll have to check the car history. Now waiting for the new heater core to arrive to finish the work and put it back together.

Well here we go... was driving a bit hard and revving my '94 VR6 around 6000rpm when suddenly... steam everywhere out of the dash! So as you've guessed I now have to change the heater core. Just a couple quick question: 1. my VR6 is a left hand drive and I live in Ireland. Can I just go to VAG and get/order a heater core? Is it the same on left hand drive/right hand drive? 2. to do the job... do I need to drain the whole cooling system? Ta

Anyways... I've corrected tha Amps for all the fuses, and #10 is supposed to be open. Nothing bad so happened so far and found out that #22 for the cigarette lighter is also for the roof light (which my docs didn't indicate). Anybody knows about these 2 relays #109 and #53 that are upside down. Especially the 109. Ta

Newbie here... bought a 1994 Corrado VR6 (German import) a few weeks back. I ran into a problem with Windows and Central Locking not working suddenly and tracked it down to a Fuse (20Amp) above Relay #15. But overall I'm confused by the fuses and relay arrangment in my car when compared to some docs I got (which are US/CAN I think). See attached pic. The fuses Amps are all over the place. Is there any reason for the Amps to be different from the doc? Relay #3 is an up side down (109). My doc lists it as (30,32) But I found this post that seem to confirm that the (109) is correct http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19131 Relay #15 is an up side down (53). My doc lists it as (78 ). Is it bad if Relays are up side down? Any comment will be appriciated.
