Hello All, Still new here so please exscuse my stupidness???? :? I've just purchased a set of Borbet A's (rather cheap) all 9x16 with an offset of ET15. Any ideas on arch work or modifications that may be needed? Car is fitted with Coilovers. New tyres will be fitted, any ideas on sizes? I'm waiting for the rims to be shipped over from Germany. :( Any help would be appreciated! Thanks. 8)

Have decided to remove engine from bay and clean up. Gearbox removed and am wanting to do timing chains. Have purchased said 2 chains and 1 tensioner, what else would anyone reccomend whilst im on with it? Are there any other guides, tensioners worth doing, or any other engine parts that would be worth chainging while the lump is out?? Have already got....... Clutch Kit, Manifold and de-cat pipe. 3x Vibra-technics mounts. Heater matrix to do :( other little bits n bobs......... Anyting else to reccomend whilst i'm on with it??? Thanks!

Hmmmmm.................. Food for thought!!!!! Not oppoesed to doing work myself, I Work In Engineering, therfore boring bores and skimming the head will be no probs! Not yet had car on the road so will be having a facelift and a good scrub up to a nice standard - but i want to be right!!!! The search continues................. Oh roughly what sort of prices will i be paying for the bits needed though??? Thanks!

Anybody with any advice on this? Best route to take? Do I take engine out rip it to bits, and start rebuilding it? allthough, head gasket gone - currently steam power :shock: Timing chains bit noisy :cry: , bottom end bit grumbly :cry: bought in this condition so don't know what else it may need! OR Do i take it out and source another unit? Does anyone out there know any reconditioners to trust? Or where to source another GOOD Motor?? Any help appreciated! Thanks!!

Hello, To Start - My Car: 1993 VR6 - Aqua Blue - Does anyone know if an earlier (1990 1.8 16v) drivers door (non electric window) and drivers wing will fit my car? Or am I better looking for VR6 items/electric window type door???? Many thanks!

Will my Mk3 Golf Coilovers fit my Corrado VR6? FK's btw. Golf is taking a bow down and all 'goodies' going on the Corrado!
