i was bombing along tonight in 5th decided to test the clutch at high revs it does not seem to slip if definetly smells like clutch not tried the 2nd gear launch yet the gears are a bit crunchy at high speeds thought it might not be working like it should when downshifting rob

been asking about a system for my g60 3 box and a 2 box system the 3 box is quiet the 2 box is for more performance how loud is the 2 box system does anybody have one I dont want something stupidly loud

it seems to have a good bite drives fine around town but when i give it a bit of hell it smells

i would not mind a 20vt in the future not sure how much they cost to do the conversion though do you know any mechanics who know about the g60 need to pop it in somewhere for a cambelt

ah yeah loved that g60 it used to sound the nuts who did work on yours I have just drank £20 of petrol not even done 60 mile and i have not hammered it I think its running a little rich I dont know anything about g60's i have the smaller pulley and chip fitted

got the beast on the road today goes pretty well needs a bit of fine tuning though sounds a bit rough to me getting a exhaust system next month change a few gaskets see what happens from there gave her a quick wash off today

who are you guys insured with I am finding it hard to insure my g60 for a good price I am 25 5 years ncb currently paying just under 400 for my audi coupe 2.08v cheapest for the g60 i have got is about 740 with the 5years ncb i think thats expensive its a cat c car i want it on the road this weekend

little update today got all the hoses plumbed in throttle body needed re-painting to never got managed to fit that few brackets here and there rad and fans fitted better strut brace bolted on lights fitted although the grill wont sit right on one side heres one side sat nicely heres the other side sticking otu slightly also does this look normal or should it be sat back a bit more at the top heres the rest of the pics from today enjoy see what you think nearly there now turned the brake fluid resovoir around so the strut brace does not get in the way and i need to find a way to mount the header tank might make a bracket to fit from the strut brace

the vac pipe was not on the ecu runs pretty good now took it round the block and the end of the charger popped off bolt was loose holding it on took the threads with it strange I never fitted that bit put a longer bolt in seems ok for now just need to get some insurance so i can take it out on the roads

i need to replace my lights as one is cracked and one has a hole in it what type do i need i heard they is 2 types also when people get the front bumper smoothed what happens with the indicators and fogs is it legal to do cheers rob

video of it running I bought a raddo g60 beginning of march ran ok but i took the charger off sent it to g-werks to be rebuilt also had the smaller pulley and the chip fitted so the cars been in bits a while put it all back together today to try get her running i primed the charger and started her up runs really bad 1k revs and just dips constantly like a misfire it stinks of fuel and it started smoking slightly at the back of the engine what have I done?? I have double checked pipes and wires i took off are plugged back in not sure what to go for need it running for monday thanks rob

cheers guys I might just go to the dealer for them next week eliminate the oil leak i need a tensioner bolt anyway i have a piece of threaded bar instead at the moment

where can I get one of these cant seem to find one and a sump gasket the engine is really oily so i am going to change them and get it cleaned and go from there rob

cheers bud i was doing that to start with ended up not getting it dead centre on the bush and snapped the bolt thought they might of been a better way rob

how the hell does this come off I have had the power steering pump virtually off to remove the other belt at the bottom before i can remove the charger belt but im finding it hard refitting the new one do i need to slacken the alternator off to get it round the last pulley and some how lever it to get it tight again rob

got a nice parcel today in the post getting some new bolts tomorrow and i will be slapping it in tomorrow evening hopefully rebuilt charger smaller pulley and ecu chipped with a new belt and oil feed

can someone tell me whats wrong here i cant let my bonnet drop shut it just hits the slam panel here is a picture of the bonnet hook and a picture of where it hits on the slam panel is the hook on backwards?

anyone know the cause the sunroof tilts perfect but it wont slide back at all I might have a go at it today not sure how complicated it will get

its a 15amp fuse only a couple in the fuse box i think i just took one out of the interior lights and it worked

changed the grill back ot standard and fitted headlight covers looks pretty good i think
