Ok thats good then. Yeah i kno the car is originally a 1.8 16v, but I have put the 2.0 16v in because the 1.8 blew, now the bottom end is rattling on the 2.0l! So just want anything there that will work.

Hello, just wondering if its possible to put a 2.0l 16v head onto a 1.8l 8v block? the block is from a mk2 golf and head a later corrado. Any help or advise is great! Thanks, Stuart

Just wondering if anyone can help me. Both my door handles have broke on my corrado, but unfortunately its not that part that can be supplied by daves_16v, its another part which has cracked that cant be bought. I have been looking for some new door handles and was hoping there was some out there that don't have the barrels as i hve never used them because of the toad full closure alarm thats on it. Does any body know if i can get some from some where, or weather mk3 golf rear door handles would fit on it? Any help would be great, thanks, Stuart.

Sounds like you havd the same problem as me! opened up fine one day then decided it didn't want to close! Now it works whenever it wants to. Thanks i will clean the contacts on mine aswell!

I bought a full set of those recaro's from a lady who was breaking a corrado for £150 including the loom and door cars to match! Dont quite think she knew how much they were worth!! Mind you neither did I til now!

Hello, just ondering if anyone can help me out on how to remove the instrument panel on my corrado? I have a new one to go in ther with the later type red needles, but last time i removed one from a mk2 golf it didnt come out in one piece! Any help is great! Thanks

Hello, didnt know which section to post this in so will try this one. My fog lights are not working on my corrado, just wondering if anyone would know what this could be? I have checked the obvious, the bulbs, the fuse is fine and i have bough a switch and still nothing. Hope some one can help as the mot is coming up soon! any help is very appreciated, thanks, Stuart.

Hello, I have just bought a flip key from http://www.keysforvw.com, i have had it cut which all works great, but I have a toad alarm and was wondering if I could get the flip key coded to work my toad alarm? I was wondering if anyone knows wether toad themselves would do this for me? thanks for any help! stuart.

yeah i have 7.5" fronts and 9" on the back. the back really are huge compared to the front!

nah you shouldnt sell it, people who say that about corrado's have no taste. they a good looking cars. "they dont make them like they used to" etc!

thanks alot for the comments, yeah i do love it, every keeps tellin me to sell it but its the best lookin dub i have had. keeps going wrong but i still love her! thanks for the insurance link, il look that up tonight

lots of reasons i guess, one being i have written off a car (dont worry not a dub, a clio!) which was 5 days after passing my test! also im 19, with no no claims because i could never afford to go on my own, until i gota new job a few months ago! i think my annual premium is £2500 if i remember right! but i didnt have a choice cos it was the cheapest i could find and i had just bought the car! it is a blood rip off though..

thanks torsten. i hope so its been off the road about two months now and it's killing me it being just sat there, while im paying £250 a month insurance! lol
