hello there, just wondering if anyone can help me. im after the engine plate and o-ring that covers the end of the waterway on the side of the block. but i went into a local vw dealership today and the guy just looked at me blankly and was as helpfull as a chocolate teapot! he had to ask the engine size of a g60, so i dont think he really knew what he was doing. the engine came out of a mk2 golf and the guy who owned it custom made his own engine mount attached to this plate, which to say the least, was a bit dodgey. so i need to replace it with a new one, on the o-ring seal behind it. the picture below is where i mean on the engine, very badly circled is where the plate used to sit. i would be grateful for any help given

just a quick 1 really, weighing up my options, either gonna rebuild the g60 or go down the vr6 route. i know of an engine available to me, just wondered if the vr6 engine would fit onto my g60 gearbox? or would it be better to have the vr6 gearbox? surely i would need the vr6 driveshafts aswell? any help would be much appreciated

 - I hate to say it but that's certainly not my experience of them! Finding one that hasn't been neglected or abused is becoming very difficult! yea i have to admit your right. if it was brought from someone on here, then there is a better chance it's been looked after, but with my g60 i brought it and within a week the supercharger had blown. i may have to retract my previous statement. go for a vr6! lol i mite be going down that route soon

get a g60 dude! generally most corrado's have been looked after and the chances are you could find a nice g60 that has history of supercharger rebuilds, then you dont even need to worry about it going wrong. although vr's do sound nice, the whine from the g60 is very addictive! do it! lol

hello there, been having a few problems with my g60 and have narrowed the problem down to the injectors. i was just wondering which injectors would be best for the g60 and where could i get them from? i may aswell get slightly bigger if im gonna replace the old one's anyway. any help will be gratefully received :)

hello there. im in desperate need of help. i have a pretty standard g60, and just lately when i go around sharp corners or roundabouts, my oil light flashes and makes a beeping sound. it also cuts out when i come to a stop, although not every time. i checked the oil levels and it had plenty of oil in it. not being a mechanic or knowing the car too well is becoming stressfull. has anyone else had these problems? im hoping it's something simple to fix, maybe a dodgey sensor of some sort. i dont really know. please help! lol

finally made the purchase, fitted it and the sound it makes is crazy! the amount of confused faces you see when you let off the throttle makes it worth the money! i have had a few ppl ask me what's under the bonnet, and they seem suprised when i tell them it's just a fairly standard g60 not as suprised as the subaru driver who couldn't keep up the other day though

hello, i've just been looking around ebay (yawn) and found a dump valve for the g60. it is supposed to prolong the life of the supercharger and stop the oil spray going into the air filter. just wondered if these actually work, or if it's just a dodgey ebay scam?

 this all sounds so familiar, but then again i come from essex so it's no suprise. everywhere i go, there is always a saxo or a corsa, or another scrotum owned car trying to sit up my arse. it has become boring now. depending on my mood i do 1 of 2 options. option 1 being a favourite, slam on the brakes and simply look in the mirror and laugh at the panic on their faces, or option 2, destroy them with a blip of the throttle, they generally dont bother after they have been made to look silly. only car this doesnt work on is the white g60 corrado who i seem to meet on the road all the time, rumours are that it is running 280bhp so getting away from him proves to be pretty difficult :)
