cheers paul, my patience is wearing thin its letting water into the footwells at the mo, got a rough idea what it is so wil add that to the list of jobs to do along with the pulley on the power steering pump slipping. i look forward to doing some want to jobs to depending on whats left of te budget after m.o.t, respray etc....

will do, wont be for a while yet as have loads of other bits to fix first. am hoping to have done in and around march time. check out my thread (andys 1990 16v)

cheers dude, ive already replaced the interior once, albeit with the same interior but it is pretty much mint so im happy with it for now. the paint will deffo be coming first...

again i agree, but the paintwork is tatty and really needs sorting out. there on auction for 28days so ive got plenty of time to think (obviously if someone else doesnt buy them)

These are VERY minor issues that would need very little mods, stop dithering :lol: i agree with what your saying. im just trying to justify buying it when in honesty i need the respray more... by the time its posted would be looking at around £800 which i can accept is a good price for what it is, i just dont think i can really spend that kind of money on an interior that i dont really need... it makes sense to me :lol:

have asked how much postage will be on both sets. door cards may be a real issue, i know you could fit two double window switches but what about the mirror switches??

... You could get away with one door trim as the new driver's side hole needs making bigger. It's not impossible to fit the single switch in the double hole and then make it good, or how about fitting a double switch both sides? Nothing's impossible and to get genuine corrado recaros for that kind of money is such a result that a bit of remedial work on the doorcards is nothing in my view. agreed. im gona give it some serious thought but if im honest at the moment and even tho they are a good price i think i need a respray more....

Yup but on the down-side the early ones have the double switch hole on the wrong side! So you'd need to locate Door trims from a RHD.. thats very true, didnt think about that...

did you have a look at the set thats for sale dude? you think they are genuine recaros? they look to me as if they could be electric??

im sure it is a recaro interior but there arent any markings on it? is it 3corsameal thats got the black recaros? am sure his seats have the recaro name embossed into the seat......

that recaro set is very nice, dont know if i can shell out that much at he mo as the c needs a respray. why cant i just be rich :lol:

very nice rado dude, im on a similar budget to you for my rado and am always on the look out for bargains, they are out there just gotta look hard. would be intrested to know some figures on the bike carbs and was it hard to do? am thinking later on of getting more power out of my 16v lump so would be good to know a bit more bout carbing it. looks v tidy, not a massive fan of white c's but yours looks 8) ...

ok ill ellaborate a bit more, have found a set comprising of front and rear seats and door cards. in good nick, leather looks a lil bit worn/cracked on bolsters but ive seen worse. its for sale at £500, which imo is a tad expensive. what are other peoples thoughts on this and what do you think would be a good offer? cheers andy

ok so am thinking of investing in a black leather interior for my rado. how much should i expect to pay for the front and rear seats and door cards? anyone with an idea on how much it would roughly be would be fantastic, cheers andy

the dash was a complete bodge, a bunch of todlers could of installed it better to be honest. the mk3 dash would never fit properly in a rado. you would have to do a lot of modification to get it in properly and it just wouldnt be worth it...

it was awesome gti. may sound bad but wouldnt recommend them to anyone, im sure they do produce good work but not in this case. as for the patience, well it runs a litle bit thinner everytime i unearth another botched job or fault with the car, ive had it almost 18 months and in that time ive had it on the road for a week :lol: . slowly but surely its getting there, am aiming to have it completely finished by march...

cheers dude.it just makes me feel sorry for my mate as he spent a hideous amount of money with said company and the work they did is just awfull. encouraging comments are just what is needed at the mo, have been ill over crimbo and hoped to get it finished ready for the m.o.t but just hasnt happened. i now have enough money to get some coilovers, refurb my d90's and get the car resprayed so hopefully by about march time it should be completely finished. will update more once ive managed to get myself out of bed and go and work on it :lol: ... cheers andy

im sure someone will do it for you if you ask, unfortunately i cant, they will basically cut and paste the wheels onto an existing picture of your car. so you can get an idea of what they would look like...
