So in the last two weeks I have had my sun roof blow out Boost pipe blow off, central locking relay not working. What makes this one worse is that my other half is not the rados greatest admirer, so when I took her out for a meal last night and the rely stoped working I had to climb in through the boot as i have installed passat rear handles. One very unhappy girlfriend now that more money has to be spent on a car. the joys of owning a 26 year old car

looks like i have a very small paint chip, but got a new roof fitted that evening, luckly a freind had a spare in their garage unfortunalty its grey not black but had a quote for £100 to spray it up, considering how much of an arse it is to get the roof in and out, don't thin its a bad price. plus i have the remains of the old roof to paint match against :)

was this the G60 at the megameet, if so it looked good, had a quick look as you were working under the bonet while your misses was cleaning your wheels..... she's a keeper lol

Good work finding the old thread, Sounds like i was going on the same runway at very similar speeds just a ikle faster, hope its not a sunroof design fault :/ got a new obe fitted last night so im water tight just need to get it sprayed

Just happy that it didn't hit the AMG behind me. I might add it was a nice straight dual carriageway with a heavy right foot ;) don't think it would hapen at normal speeds

No fully closed, but needed changing as the seal was not great and roof wouldn't go back

I have my baby back and running perfectly, after having a rather large very lumpy running paper weight sat on my drive, took her to VwS in Exeter. evrything that my ex friend who did the conversion said was crap. they had it running an sounding awesome in under 3 hours. so happy even if the misses said she was leaving i don't think it would remove this smile :) gonna be boosting all around south devon over the christmas break :)

yes probally will Rob, just need to get her running smoothly, she may be back but still needs a few tweeks. going to be driving all around the bay during the summer :)

Hi All After blowing my head gasket years ago I decided to improve rather than fix, so my trusty and beautiful 1.8 16V is now running a AGU 20VT with a K03s on qpeng. I have been waiting so long to get it back that i feel like a new rado owner again and i'm finding any excuse to grab those keys :)

Hi all, I have a agu with a k03s on a 1990 so no cat. It running a bit lumpy and a small amount of black smoke was going to change the maf but dont know which to go for? Would the turbo upgrade mean needing a different maf? Thank you for any help

Hi all Im hopeing a vag nut will be come along and be able to answer this. I need a turbo to finish my 20VT and in the preservation of my wallet, im looking to get a cheaper turbo. i know you pay for quality, and don't want to get a chinese rip off. but i have found a US spec turbo for a golf / jetta 1.8T K03, will that fit my agu conversion with no issues? eg passat vs golf turbo. Thank you for your help Dave

im putting a AGU into a 1.8 16V, from experience what throttle cable have people run? any help would be greatly appriaciated Dave

What a build, makes me want to get mine finished asap, just wondering though what throttle cable did you use? and did you have a issues with the throttle body fouling on the bonnet? Dave

couple of months?! it doesn't take that long! the garage is doing the work as i have the money, and my shit company is again making redundancies, so i havn't been to see the garage in a while :(

i have a spare brand new 16v radiator, and im looking to get 200 - 225 bhp from the AGU all depending on turbo, but since this wil be a daily driver for a while, i don't want to blow the head. Does the 16v radiator fit in the engine bay with an AGU? obviously the pipe connections are the wrong side how much of a problem does this make? there is also alot of talk regarding a VR6 with slim line fans??? what fans are these? realisticly what sort of power would i get from a agu with a ko3, using a vr6 clutch and g60 flywheel? it is a given that the engine runs 180 with the qpeng remap but due to the car being precat i can a decat pipe. how will this affect the power? thanks again for any help / guidence Dave

when my suit case and middle went, i had to bite the bullet and go away from standard. a local exhaust garage sorted me out, they found a mongose g60 back box on ebay and advised if i buy that they will fit straight through stainless, the noise was about the same as im not in to the chavy buuuurrrrr and like the near standard look. This was cheaper than trying to replace the suitcase. £200 all in. what you have to remember is that the stainless WILL out survive the car, they gave me a 20 year warrenty the the pipes :D you will never have to worry about it again.
