I need help, im in the beginning third of the build, i've got a 1.8 16v rado and im putting a AGU in with g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch, running on QPENG with a K03, but i don't know what radiator to use. QPENG used a 1.3 golf, but state for track days etc go bigger. this is going to be a daily driver until i can get a new run around and use this for weekends and special treats in the week lol. the 1.3 just sounds wrong, just because the connectors are in the right place doesn't mean that the radiator is bigger enough for the job. Please help Thanks Dave

i split my top hose a few weeks ago, and also recently had an oil and filter change. i was running on a bodge top hose for a couple of weeks but checked the condition of the repair before and after every jouney, had been running a little hot recently but only 2-4 degrees form normal running temps (94-98). i never see any white on the cap, and there is a substainsual amount i did notice my exhaust lightly smoking yesterday. i dont want to run the risk driving it as i have to drive 15 miles to work every day. 150 miles a week with dodgy head :nono:

while doing the weekly check on my car i have noticed the oil cap now has white on it. although the head hasn't blown yet, im going to get it changed but was wondering how much its cost to fix at a garage or how easy is it to fix myself since the head hasn't blow yet will i need to get the head skimmed?

I changed the very worn out belt on my 1.8 16v rado this afternoon. the belt in question goes round three pullys, from what i have read this belt also powers the water pump the change went very well apart from a bit of wd 40 required on one bolt but there was no real problem. but something has gone wrong as my power steering no longer works. the belt seems to rotate with out a problem, but if my powersteering isn't working what chances are there that my water pump isn't working. not to sure what to do as garages are closed tomorrow and i need the car for work next week. how do i check that the waterpump is working fine ? many thanks for any help i recieve Dave

If you lot remember back a few weeks i posted a german link with some wheels i was considering buying of off ebay, i also posted it up on a couple of other sites and everyone said the same thing, dont do it, won't look any good on the rado. clicky to german site i bought them anyway, the ebay wheels don't have a black centre like the german ones. and im getting a lot better response from else where what do you lot think? that is 2" dish as well. coilovers coming next month i can only put the front on at the mo due to needing a tyre on the new wheels and having 2 bold front tyres opps

Taken off of http://www.sw-pc.com Hi all Could you please keep your eyes out for my 18" Inovit Alloys for the Octavia, they were stolen last night/this morning (car was on bricks when I got up today).  The thieves seemed to know what they were doing, extracting the door barrel ( no drilling) and enabling the auto windows down feature (no need to smash them) - they also used a VW Jack and Tyre iron to do the job (left by the car), so seems to be someone with or knows about VW/Audi's etc. The wheels are 18" Black Inovite ST VI's, with chrome lip - they will be a bit more unique, as they will either have the custom green Inovite/vRS decals that I produced on the wheel spokes, or won't have any decals at all (From factory they should have original blue Inovite/RAVS decals) Image of the wheels taken just yesterday  If you guys could post this up on your respective forums, it would help a lot. Thanks link to post clicky

Hi all. I joined just under a year ago but for one reason and another got a bit lost. I've got a 1990 1.8 16V, the eventual plans are : - borbet- a's smoking the rear and side lights drop her by 30mm then start on the engine, only a few tweeks there, just get the most out of the engine :D before any of that though i first have to get my drivers door sorted (get one of Daves kits I just read about), secondly my wipers miss the majority of my screen :confused4: :confused4: i have replaced the wipers but this did not help. im thinking it could be the screen, if the correcct one has not been fitted ? speak to you all soon
