VR6Seeker

Thnx for ur help. I noticed today that there was a small amount of water leaking from somewhere round the left hanside of the engine bay (only when running) and that my coolant level had dropped alot. I topped the level up and the light stopped flashing but after driving about 60 miles tonight it started flashing again. I checked my level and it was fine. Any ideas on wot the prob could be ? Is the water pump on the left side as you stand facing the car ? could this be the problem ? Many thnx in Advance

ok, so if the temp gauge is not reading to high i dont need to panic right ? i should just check my coolant level ?

i topped it up when i bought the car but maybe i have a leak, il have to check it out in the morning. Thnx

Hi all, ive only purchased my vr6 yesterday and when driving it tonight ive noticed the temp light coming on and flashing at me. The gauge is reading approx 90 -100 most of the time. Can anyone plz tell me wots going on coz ive brought the car home and im a bit worried about it. Thnx in advance

ThnX for your opinion and help. It doesnt sound to bad, its a lovely lookin car but i suppose i should get the Oil leak checked out in more detail as im not sure about spending near on 5k for a car with an oil leak. Will the car get through the MOT with the ABS light flashing ?

Hi all, nice to see so many corrado lovers :D Im thinkin about buying a VR6 and woz hoping i could get some advice on if it sounds ok. Heres the info : VR6, L reg 80,000 Black Leather Full VWSH Full Closure Cat 1 Mint Condition £4,750 Ive had a Pre purchase check from a VW Garage and this is wot they came up with : ABS Fault Front + Rear Discs worn Multi Belt Worn Oil leak on engine oil cooler Sunroof Motor Slow OSR brake pipe perished Water pipe to throttle body joiner in it Are these expensive problems ? The seller has agreed to get the car MOTed b4 i buy. Will any of these probs have to be fixed to pass MOT ? PLZ Help, i dont know if i should should go for it or not !! :? ThnX in Advance !! :)
