Why should he modify the thread? As he said, he placed the order with lmreps and has obviously been messed about (by lmreps).
-
its a plastic water pipe at the front of the engine, usually goes brittle and cracks (hence the name crack pipe). Might be worth ordering the gruven metal one from strictly dubs - this will not crack. I'll be doing this soon, just need a set of samcos now
-
I should have some RH ones by the weekend - will drop you a pm when I have them. Deffo up for a deal on the porsche ones if theyre minters. Cheers
-

Thanks for the responses guys. Boostmonkey, the US bumper has no plate recess and 'cruise lights' on the sides of the bumper. Coolrado - thanks for the reply mate but I dont think I was clear in my post - I actually want to relocate the side repeaters on the wings to the cruise lights in a US front bumper, The fact that they come with no number plater recess is just an added bonus. Walesy - thanks for the pointer - i will try pm'ing Mr Billinjah I would look on american ebay but I dont want to risk shipping it, probably be fairly pricey to send aswell. If anyone happens to stumble across one PLEASE bear me in mind. Thanks Again Chaps -

Bump - Come on guys someone must be able to point me in the right direction. The rado is going into the bodyshop for the full works this weekend and I really wanna fit a US front bumper and delete the side repeaters. Any leads would be gratefully received. Thanks Again -
Hi guys - as title please. I know the obvious answer will be from America but Id really like to pick one up as local as possible. Or if anyone has managed to replicate the US spec bumper by using the euro one? - id be very interested how. Thanks in Advance

I think theyre trying to help you out to be fair so I dont see why youre getting so narky. Most people take a hit when selling a car, just something you have to be prepared for. I'll tell you straight I doubt very much youd even get 2K these days with that mileage and with it being recorded. I dont normally comment on these threads as i believe its very easy to determine a market price just by checking out the market, also dont like telling people things that will upset them. Sorry

This months EVO mag has the new scirrocco fetaured along with a mint looking 'old' one.

I certainly agree that something needs to be done but its got to be for the better in the long term - I think BNP would be a BIG step backwards.
-
Totally agree - you really must have you head buried if you think BNP are anything but a bunch of biggots. I'm voting respect - Galloway FTW Oh and yeah corrado prices are on the floor atm - I stupidly thought I may actually make money when I sell mine, at least thats what I told the wife!!
-
Sorry to butt in but if you have a spare n/s late lense yandards any chance you could bring that to Brum? ill meet you and drop you a few dub tokens for it. Let me know please mate and ill send you a pm with my moby number so we can arrange to meet. Many Thanks

I did try the key but no joy unfortunately. Will wriggle into the boot later and pop it open now I know what to remove. Thanks very much for the swift responses
-
Hi Recently changed the rears light clusters on my c as I wanted to tint the ones that were already on the car - now the boot wont open!! I remember undoing a bolt that was behind the boot release button but tightened it back up as soon as I realised it was the wrong one. Closed the boot after id swapped over the lights and have been unable to release the boot since then. I can hear the boot unlocking with the central locking but the button will not open it and now I cant get into my boot at all. I have had a quick look behind the rear seats and there doesnt seem to be a release on the inside. Please someone tell me theres a way to open it so I can investigate. Thanks in advance

Thanks for that I think the upgrade uses calipers from a MK4 but I just want it sorted. £80 a side for the calipers! If I have to do both sides thats £160 down the shitter in the first week of the year. Great start!! Any more help guys??
-
Hi guys My corrado (94 VR6) has recently started making a very annoying grinding noise coming from the left rear wheel. Ive jacked the car up and rotated the wheel and I can hear the noise - looks like the calipers are sticking. Have now taken the wheel off and when rotating the hub I can tell that the brakes are definitely binding. Is there a temp (boj) fix that I can undertake until I get all the necessary parts required to fix it right? Also what do you guys recommend I replace? 1 caliper or both sides? Handbrake cables? Pads? Any help would be great. Thanks in Advance
