  1. Glad to hear it will all fit! :D

How did it happen... The car was standing in my parents barn for a month or so, and when I came back to check up on it, it looked like this  So I dont know if there has been a mouse in the electronics or maybe condensation that have set off the fire :confused4: the car was in mint condition, and all the electronics looked good when I left it, so i really dont know. Either way, it sucks.

Thanks for the help, then i will go buy the interior from the G60.

    Kind regards

    Dennis

  2. Hey all

Simple question I can't seem to answer with my Bentley Corrado Manual :confused4:

Will the interior (instrument panel, seats, door panels) from a G60 fit in my VR6 (1994) - mounting holes and all?

My interior has been damaged (fire), and it's hard to find spare-pieces and now someone is offering me the trim from a G60 - so I really need to know.

    Kind regards

    Dennis

  3. The reason I'm not buying vr6 interior is, that my corrados exterior isn't perfect, and it would cost me the same amout to pay tax and registration fees for my (at the moment unregistered) vr6 here in Denmark, as it would cost to buy a registered G60 here.

I don't understand what you guys are saying... please make it more clear :help: .

When I have a Corrado VR6, am I able to convert a G60 to a VR6 just by swapping the bits and pieces, without having to modify the G60 chassis eg. by welding and other stuff?

  4. As the title says.

As some of you know my beloved VR6 interior burned down a couple of months ago :mad2: . I still have the car though, and was wondering if I could buy a Corrado G60, and swap the engine out with my VR6 engine/gearbox without troubles? (G60s are chaper than VR6s here in Denmark)

In other words. Are the VR6 and the G60 the same car, with just different stuff under the hood? - if not, please describe what problems I would encounter converting the G60 to VR6  .

    Kind regards

    Dennis from Denmark.

I have tried to find threads regarding this question, but can't, so please link them if they are out there.

  5. the whole original airbox... I just need to use it when the car is checked, afterwards I'm mounting the BMC again :D

I'm not intending to buy a new one, but a cheap one from another car from the "breakers". Thats why I need to know what types of VW cars I can use the airfilter from - cause I guess the original corrado one will be hard to find within the next two days, and very expensive to buy.

    Dennis

  6. I have just moved to Germany, and put my Corrado VR6 through German TUV.

They didn't think the BMC CDA air filter was such a good idea, and i haven't got any original air filter/housing. So i need to buy an used one here in Germany.

My question is: What airfilters could I use on the VR6, and buy from the breakers. Golf MK2 filter, Passat filter or what?

Please respond fast, since my temporary numberplates will soon expire.

    Regards

    Dennis

  7. Nice one Kev!

Have been doing a lot of reading on the Audioscape door pods now, and thats definitely the way I want to go!

Do you reckon there could be a market for another group buy of these? (black editions, late spec)

I see that you know the guys at Audioscape, so maybe you could fix another group buy? (I know that you are the host of other big group buys, so only start this one if you feel like it! :notworthy: )

    Regards
