  1. i tried to get mine out of the 1.8 when i put the 2.0l in mine i snapped ropes trying and they didnt budge lol i just swapped inlet manifold ha ha, but they do pull out i have managed on everyone elses engine i work on :)
  2. 1st and second, in the wet 3rd at the right rpm, enough for me :)
  3. if you mean taking the injectors out of the inlet manifold you just tug on them!
  4. yes the cams are interchangeable those figures are with the 50mm inlet on, it came like that i have more torque than i can put to tarmac bottom end so no woes there :D
  5. its the isv it stabalises your idle, it should buzz! a dizzy is a distributer it is where all of you ht leads go to if you work back from your engine! take the cap off and check the terminals inside and the rotor arm for any wear/ dirt. the distributor is the part that is bolted to the block,
  6. i have no history but dubshack told me it was the best 9a they have ever had in? the head i am 99.9% has been rebuilt and im pretty sure after those figures without any smoke atall on full beans on rollers or road the bottom end has been rebuilt. the cam is definately a 9a cam, thankyou for all the replies i will let you guys know how it goes this weekend! :)
  7. cheers just wanting to 100% it as i have her running so good at the moment!
  8. cheers for that :) but it doesnt really answer my question i was wondering if anyone has experience of before and after?
  9. right i have a 9a corrado lump which i have put in my mk2 golf! i have looked on this site but i cannot find anything comparing the two! i have just gotten her rolling roaded @ 158bhp & 150ft lb standard! (set up byme,by ear alone! timing & metering head) is it worth putting the kr inlet cam on or will i loose my low down torque? what do you loose to gain the bhp basically? is it worth it? Cheers Edd
