Ok, forget the golf gti's I really hate them now, they are like driving a go kart. I can't really test drive the complete range of corrados without wasting peoples time, i was hoping for someone would give me a brief description of each model :clap:

Hi all, I want a Corrado but don't know which one to go for. Is the VR6 the one to go for or is it the 2l 16v, also how does it compare to driving a 79 mk1 gti? I have driven a 79 and 1982 golf gti for about 12 years and getting too old. How smooth is a corrado to drive and would you class the engines as moden? andy

I suppose if an LPG conversion is possible, the cost of running a VR6 or G60 over the long term would come down?

I bet thats cheap compared to some places in London. Anyone from London, if so whats the price of petrol?

I hit a concrete bollard and the concrete never moved. My head hit the steering wheel, giving me a bloody nose and two black eyes a few days later and I was only doing about 10 mph!!!! motoring is very dangerous, its a shame you can't fit an air bag on a rado.

Thats why I only put a fiver in the tank :lol:

Thats true, I suppose if its kept on the drive its cheap motoring. If your using the VR6 on a daily basis its going to cost a fortune to run :shock:
