Hi, Is the fuel pump complete with pressure balance tank etc still available?, Regards Jim.
-
Hi, I was wondering if the complete fuel pump assembly was available, my car is a 1990 16v 1.8 and it has a leak on the reservoir/pressure balance tank on what looks like a small black rubber bung, so I would like to know if the complete unit is available for purchase?. Regards, jim.
-
Hi, many thanks for the reply, It does help, cheers, jim.

Has anyone out there got a complete fuel pump with body and fittings for a 16v, 1990 model, mine is leaking slightly from the top of what looks like the fuel return line on a small bung, so require a decent unit to replace unless anyone knows if it can be repaired?. Jim.

Hi, have you got the fuel pump and body complete and working order, Jim.

Elsecar Mega Meet + UK Rallye Golf Show 2012

I agree with Jim, you feel too far removed from the dub scene, the Corrado turn out was great but the interest in them was very dissappointing, but never mind we like them!, the same can't be said of the younger generation probably because they struggle to afford the insurance group of the cars, and yes Jim they now fit in more with the general classic car shows as they are mostly frequented by the older end of the classic enthusiasts. The future of where they fit in at the VW scene is unsure, maybe general classic shows is the future?, who knows but one thing for sure it's a generation thing, shows evolve so maybe we should?, thoughts out there?. Hi Guys, Jim D here, been a member of owners club for just about 5 years though my membership date on the owners club forum does not show that, ( update me please eric?), I have 16v black 1990 rado, and I am a close friend and neighbour of Bruny, done some shows in 2008/09 but not been active of recent times, so look forward to saying hello at the shows. Jim.

Hi andy, thanks for getting back, my rado is an early 1990 16v so this pump/pulley would suit my car, can you let me know what price you want for the item and if agreed we can take it from there. regards jim.

Hi guys, looking for the belt drive pulley that is mounted on the power steering pump, also maybe interested in pump as well, has anyone out there got a pulley?.
-
Hi, has the power steering pump got the belt pulley on the pump?, if so how much is it and how soon could you send it, jim.

No Paul, can't get near a realistic price for monies spent a time and effort, so decision made it stays, booked into body shop today for the roof work I wanted doing, then cover up for a while and start enjoying again.

Your'e right Kip, you do get well fed up with them, its the constant striving for that perfection, but it being a car it wears and get scratched or paint chips when you take em out each time, so its bound to have an effect such as you have at the moment, you just cant achieve what you are trying to do, so use it a tad more and enjoy the driving as apposed to the striving mate.!

Hi Rado land, just wondered if any of you guy's or gal's out there know where to get a set of mudfllaps to suit the rado, I know the originals are no longer available and that there are mixed feelings over whether they should or should not be fitted, but I like them fitted, so if anyone can help I would love to hear from them, cheers. Hi Chris, the car is looking superb, like the original number on the car, it makes the car look so much better and folks will see it as an old good un now for want of a better description. I am off next week and dave's not too busy, well busy'ish, you should bring it over and we'll catch up. Jim ( aka blackrado). -
So now that you are back from oz, how's the engine repair going, is it ready?.

I have been looking at but still haven't decided yet about stainless steel aftermarket exhaust manifolds, for 16v pre-cat corrado's. I enquired about one on Ebay from a seller knowing fully that the ones I have previously seen only fitted l/h drive corrado's due to the fact that the power steering rack would interfere with it. So when asking the seller if it fitted the eventual answer was, it fits corrado's without power steering, which leads me to the question, did vw send out any corrado's without power steering?, and raises the issue that the seller is possibly advertising a manifold that would not be any use to someone with a r/h drive 16v corrado with power steering. So anyone out there know the answer, are there any of these models out there without power steering?.
