  1. HI Jim. Yeh I think itsa lazyness problem.VW west edinburgh couldnt find a coolant sensor ? Micks garage said they didnt sell them even though they are on their website ? Then called East edinburgh vw. They said they couldnt find it either? so gave them the vw 026906161 for golf. He said it will fit as its for a 9a. So maybe thats the one ? £43 dealer price Lol. This could still be wrong though ? Its the coolant sensor, white twin pin located on the right side of block directly below the side water flange. http://www.partsbase.org/vw/corrado-cor-eu-1993-212-oil-pressure-switch-thermal-switch-temperature-sensor-switch-for-reversing-light/
  2. Hi guys. Im trying to find a coolant sensor for my 93k 2.016v 9a engine. The local dealer was no good and ive tried many places online too. I had part no vw026906161 but thats the wrong part apparently ? Im well confused on this simple matter Can anyone point me in the right direction, thanks.
  3. Just want to say Thanks Si for your info in this thread. Bl**dy annoying that everytime i call my local dealer i get the usual "sorry obsolete pal" Lol
  4. Cool. Can u give me first option on them if they are all good, cheers. BTW is it a 1.8 0r 2.0 valver
  5. Caliper and / or fuel assembly ? Ta.
  6. Out of curiousity is this a dead thread now ?
  7. Hi do you have the rear passenger side caliper and fuel pump assembly under the car ? Cheers
  8. Can you take a 1.8 corrado fuel assembly and stick it on a vr or 2.0 16v and vice versa ? How about a golf mk2 1.8 and 2.0 gti assembly on to a corrado ? It all seems a bit confusing to me and any info would be much appreciated by me and possibly others too . Cheers.
  9. Hi im looking for a housing and pipework for the fuel pump under my car. My pump is ok but the pipes are looking rough and the plastic housing has seen better days too. If anyone can help me out that would be great,cheers.jon.
  10. Hi do you have the fuel pump plastic housing and any of the fuel pipes,eg filter to accumulator ? cheers
  11. CAR S.O.S are looking for deserving cases for their new show so anyone out there with a piece of junk with a good sob story should get in touch with them. Its a good show and a Corrado on it would be great. Kinda prefer it to Ed China and his miracle working squirts of wd40 that release seized anything and everything. My car always needs the oxy torch on it to free up anything.
  12. HI Si, Thanks for that. It looks like the only way forward here.I spoke to Pirtek hoses today and they said theyd have a look but couldnt guarantee they had the right end fittings. Looks like it will be flexible hoses for me. I just need to find out what size fittings are used on the pipes first so im not left stranded with knackered removed pipes and no replacements to fit. Thanks again for your help regarding the pipes from the stealers, will be calling them tomorrow.Cheers Si.Jon.
  13. Hi,ive read your thread and wondering if u still have any of the fuel pump assembly/pipework at all, cheers
