Whats is and where to buy the right coolant sensor for 9a 93 2.016v ?
borders16v replied to borders16v's topic in Engine Bay
HI Jim. Yeh I think itsa lazyness problem.VW west edinburgh couldnt find a coolant sensor ? Micks garage said they didnt sell them even though they are on their website ? Then called East edinburgh vw. They said they couldnt find it either? so gave them the vw 026906161 for golf. He said it will fit as its for a 9a. So maybe thats the one ? £43 dealer price Lol. This could still be wrong though ? Its the coolant sensor, white twin pin located on the right side of block directly below the side water flange. http://www.partsbase.org/vw/corrado-cor-eu-1993-212-oil-pressure-switch-thermal-switch-temperature-sensor-switch-for-reversing-light/ -

Hi do you have the fuel pump plastic housing and any of the fuel pipes,eg filter to accumulator ? cheers -
CAR S.O.S are looking for deserving cases for their new show so anyone out there with a piece of junk with a good sob story should get in touch with them. Its a good show and a Corrado on it would be great. Kinda prefer it to Ed China and his miracle working squirts of wd40 that release seized anything and everything. My car always needs the oxy torch on it to free up anything.

HI Si, Thanks for that. It looks like the only way forward here.I spoke to Pirtek hoses today and they said theyd have a look but couldnt guarantee they had the right end fittings. Looks like it will be flexible hoses for me. I just need to find out what size fittings are used on the pipes first so im not left stranded with knackered removed pipes and no replacements to fit. Thanks again for your help regarding the pipes from the stealers, will be calling them tomorrow.Cheers Si.Jon.
