ive got this problem also, especially when in traffic?? im told that it something to to with the sender switch, its got 2 on settings, and the low speed is probibly knackered, not a major job, but i still havent sorted it!!! someone else may be able to give a better description!!! also getting some vibrations as it may be loose?

yeah im well chuffed with it. . . was talking to a guy last week about pxing it for a huskvarna supermoto bike. . . bike i dont think i could get rid of the motor. . . plans?? none really, put a decat pipe on last week which is nice, was looking for some porker wheels but cant really afford them, yeah there toyos, took them off in favour for some bridgestone for road use, lookign for a set of rims if anyones got any??? nothing special just 205/50 15's to put the toyos on, then i can enjoy the odd track day thanks for the comments byu the way!

got this last year after doing a deal with my mk2 gti, (which i do miss) its a 2.9 model, got an induction kit, and stainless exhaust, also lowered, but thats enough. It has had some paint at some point, not sure about a full blowover, but its in good nic. 130k Full vw history

hello everyone. . . thought i would start off with a question. . . i got the belts from german and sweedish. . . so maybe a trip to vw is in order, a guy said it couls be a kindof laquer on the belt itself, that takes a while to peel off, but thats pretty much eliminated now. many thanks, will try this and see how it goes, will be nice to hear the engine for a change. ..

wonder if any of you guys can help me. . . *changed the ancillary belt on my k-reg corrado vr6 (no air con) about 50 miles later i started getting a skreech. *then replaced the tensioner which was faulty (self tensioner) still noisy *took belt off and spun water pump which sounded a bit dodgy, replaced pump (fubar) and pully also replaced belt again in case it was faulty didnt make a noise for about a week but its squeeking again now so basically its had *belt (x2) *tensioner *water pump and pully belt is tight and car is running fine other than noise any ideas!!!?
