Hi guys just wondered if anyone had any recomendations for which oil to go for, band etc? cheers

if i wanted to get some highlift cams how would i know what profile to get? :S

i'm putting the 2.0l bottom end on my 1.8 16v head, but what cams do i go for? i have heard KR cams being metioned quite alot, and also Schrick, any suggestions? cheers

can anyone recommend a VW specialist to rebuild my engine, i want my 2.0 16v engine sat in my shed rebored to 2.1 I live close by to janspeed and have been there but they haven't got back to me yet, and i'm awaiting a phone call from the Phirm, any recommendations would be useful! i have tried searching the forum for information on what other people have gained from the conversion...but no such luck, just vr6 stuff! yawn

I had heard something like that, i was thinking about it for a while. I have a 2.0l engine for the car and wasn't planning on going as far as to uprate the cams. I find lower in the rev range there's not an awful lot of grunt, seems like you have to wait for it to get going, once it gets going though its gone. The c is an awsome driving experience.

Hi, I have a 1.8 16v 1991 C, currently producing 152BHP as a recent rolling road print out from stealth racing shows. I'm considering putting a 2.0l bottom end on the 1.8 head. Does anyone know how much i might gain from this and whether it would be worth my while. Thanks
