  1. do what? what year did they put a 2.0l in then, and it is new its just a 2.0 16v one
  2. so if there both early 91' i should be okay?
  3. do the 1.8 16v and 2.0 16v 1991 fit each other or is there a difference throughout the engines?
  4. is this hard to replace? ive got gearbox fluid coming out of my bell housing, does the gearbox need to be removed? cheers
  5. im having trouble finding a replacement clutch master cylinder, GSF have told me they cant get me one, and all my local places are the same, VW want 130!! :gag: anyone help ?
  6. does all corrados come with karman badges ect..? mines got a couple inside ect.. didnt know if they all did
  7. sorted :) didnt take cv joint out undone suspension leg and hammered it out
  8. so theres no clip to undo, i just hit it with a mallet. how did u lock up the driveshaft to get the nut off because i put it 5th gear but it still spins
  9. so have i got to take the CV joint out of the hub? belt what part with a mallet?
  10. im replacing my drivers side outer CV gaitor, the old one came apart in my hands but i cant seperate the CV joint from the driveshaft! wheres the C clip? ive done loads of gators on different cars whys this so different!!
  11. this is what im asking, theres no air getting in at all.. the pedel aint going limp like when theres air in the system thats whats confusing. it just gets stuck down, really weird
  12. can someone just tell me what would happen if the master cylinders gone? would it just let air into the hydralic system and thats it? because i have no air in my system and clutch peddles got pressure to engage gear but as soon as i try pulling away the clutch is rooted to the floor and i have to pull it up again, its like the biting point gets lower and i cant get it out of gear untill it stalls. while moving i have to change gear like a f1 driver so the peddle dont stay down, also if i rest my foot on the peddle while stationary it slowly travels down to the floor also, this is supposed to be my runabout and im spending more on it then my project car its driving me mad. ive just replaced my slave and rubber hose and its no different.
  13. received today, you are the man 8)
  14. ive got an exact same problem!! this cars driving me mad. ive just replaced the slave, and the rubber pipe that attaches to it with genuine VW parts and its exactly the same!! its a wierd thing where if i just rest my foot on the clutch it starts to sink to the floor and wont return unless i "toe" it up. also as im finding the biting point it gets lower and lower towards the floor and then i cant get it out of gear and stall the car its sooo annoying!! what do i change now? this cars pissing me right off
  15. so ive gota take negative lead off and tap it with a spanner?
