lol, your not the first one to say leave it as it is.i think ill have too now.a new set of rims and she will look alot better. i always make sure shes washed and t-cutted before she goes back in the garage as it pays to look after them in the long run.ill never sell it though as im going to spend quite abit on her but no to much that it spoils it as some people go to far i think :salute: -

think i found the problem, there seems to be a hole in the rubber elbow to the throttle boby. its seems to me that there has been a screw screwed into it at sometime, gods knows why.i put some tape over it for know and it seems to be better, ill take it for a spin this week and let you all know. thanks for all your help, hopefully this is the problem  -

she is slammed alrite, bit much though for me. i want to put some bigger wheels on so she will have to come up slightly. i had a bargain with it really as it only cost me £595. its got a folder full of receipts,fk coilovers, full scorpian boxer system, new bushes, bearings etc loads of stuff. i had to travel 5 hours on a train to pick her up but it was worth it. my missis bought it me for a present as i wrote my show rado off last year, gutted. its going to be off the road for 6 months then the beast will be unleashed :D im going to keep uploading pics of it as it transforms so keep an eye out -

its a 1990 1.8 16v. its fine top end but bottom end it doesnt pull at all. gatefull for any info -
any ideas what could be wrong as when taking off at junctions it doesnt seem to have much go in first or second but the rest of the gears it seems ok. it does splutter a bit when first started but ive changed the leads, dizzy, plugs, oil and air filter. somebody told me the timing might be out, what do you think?? ive also been told that there is about 4 cam followers need replacing so could that be the problem??? any comments would be appreciated as im spending a fortune and it aint getting rid of the problem, cheers guys - Dino :confused4:
