Some sound advice coming my way here. Was the Recaro upgrade made available on the storms? Also what is the best non storm colour available in the VR6 or should I say the rarest?

Sound advice guys... What's "working door handles"??? Also was leather heated recaros's a optional extra? Was leather interior on the later VR6's standard or an optional extra.

If i was in your position id go for a better spec standard VR6 for less money. Storms are overrated and your more likely to get a better standard VR. Thank you for the advice, but please can you elaborate on the "better spec" for me please. What are you refering to? What extras were available that people may have taken up the option on that will make it better than a storm? Sorry for all these questions, maybe obvious to some, but I am new to this scene. I was a previoos Fiesta RS Turbo driver and fab and still am if I could find a Moondust Silver one on a K plate with low mileage. Fat chance of that. Always admired the Corrado, after working for VW, and maybe the time is right now for a change!!!

When you say better specced what are you refering to? More extras like say AC?

The guy want's around the £2k mark for a buy it now price. He is the 2nd owner and has history upto 110k. The previous owner was his bosses wife. He said the arches need doing and to make it look quality then the wings maywell need replacing. All the electrics work on the plus side. In a bit of a dilemma here now. In answer to your question, yes it is a storm I'm after. I would love a low mileage one but they are few and far between. The one's that are available are priced at silly money. I notice that you are based in Uxbridge, I'm just down the road in Hayes.

Hi guys. I'm new on this forum so please excuse my ignorence. I have been a fan of the VR6 Storm for sometime now, my love for it began back in 97 whilst working for a VW dealership in Manchester. At the time I did'nt have the means to buy one, I sort of do now. I'll cut right to the chase, I'm after a VR6 Storm in Green with the cream leather interior. I know only 250 were made hence they are not so easy to come by. My question is how much should I be paying for one of them and are many around with mileage under 100k. All the ones I see are 100k plus. Also are there any common faults I should look out for aswell as rust spots? I have a 100 and 1 questions to ask hence wont bore you guys with them. Just some sound advice would be nice and if possible a specialist's number who I could call to speak to Thanx in advace for any advice/help. sunny
