Hiya i am going to attempt to install an aquamist 1s system on my charged vr6 , there is a cable which has to go to the ignition switch positive...so the question is??? where is that? lol its on a vr6 vento obd2 1997.....any help would be usefull..... thanks in advance

well i am not getting it mapped with the WI , thats more of a back up and can be removed if needed with out upsetting the map......yeah i looked at pwr ,maybe later in the year when the bank says i can have more money!!!lol

hopefully hit about 300 , was going to do charge cooler set up ut space is limited without upsetting the engine bay.....so think once i am done mapping that will be it for a while.got a mk2 golf i need to start spending money on to..lol...the vento is getting all the attension at the moment

i am running a vortech at stage 2 (maybe stage 3 option later),full stainless system/264 cam/Water injection running larger injectors,i got the adjustable one was it was same price as normal one but more range to tweak it.......

well vince is mapping the car on friday , so he will to install that + set it up........i dont have a in line pressure gauge..where could i get one from?

Hi,just got a adjustable fuel pressure regulator for my vr6 as its goingto vince on friday to get mapped with the charger on..How easy are they to install and set up?

have you reset the MPG on the stalk?i cleared mine the other day and got higher readings???

well they reckon the first 3 months after installing a mod can make it a bit more thirsty due to the driver putting his foot down more , once it wears off you should see normal MPG...... i had the same when i had my cams done....getting my charger next week fitted so its going to be even worse

could you run t piece off the pipework for the water injection and still be able to use your windscreen washer bottle in the front for water injection + window cleaning? My window is never really that dirty....

well i need a tank for the water injection so going to use the windscreen washer tank for that , need something bigger anyway for the chargecooler set up....

thinking about the pwr cooler set up , with a tank in the boot.....set up will cost about 550 for everything,.(thats using a smaller chargecooler ) need to handle about 300-350 bhp

yeah i heard that running it in the boot was better as it took a long time to circulate and better cooling than if the tank was in engine bay.They reckon 3-5litres tank for optimal cooling... i was looking to put it in the spare wheel compartment hidden away under the floor did you run the pipes in the car or outside?

i think space is going to be the issue , was looking around the bay and its pretty tight , was thinking about hooking a 4ltr tank in the boot and running the water back down the car and then back again to cool it down?

do you remember what size the pwr one was? think i might have to install the charger first then look at my option....Question about the pump , how do you connect the power up for that?so that it does run live all the time and only when the car is on?

hey dude,,,thanks for the reply..i think the pwr is the best one to go for due to space......otherwise to much pipework and like you say pressure drops..... better do it right first time !!!!

yeah point taken.........Question is how do you fit a chargecooler into the vr6 superchager set up? trying to find some quides or pics but cant find any?? need to know the best place to mount it ,eg:size ect

not really about skimping but more like having a budget......as much as i would like to but the top of the range stuff at the moment there is alot of wrk that i need to spread my cash out on.... i know if you get some of the parts seperate it can work out a bit cheaper as i seen chargecooling kits going for 1400+ compared to aout 500 quid if you source the parts and spend the time....
