I haven't yet fitted it, going to drill the column surround and push in the spring and see how i go. Got my barrell off ebay at a very small fraction of dealer price, so we'll have to see if it's ok!

Hi all, For a while now, my corrado has been getting harder and harder to start with me having to rag the key around in an even more aggressive fashion each time! Yesterday it wouldn't start, so i went and got a new ignition switch. After hours molesting a few screwdrivers, i finally got the old one out! :censored: Put the new one in, and it still wouldn't start. :mad2: So I took out the switch and turned it with a screwdriver with the key in the barrel. The car starts! After a bit more investigation, the ignition barrel seems a to have some play in it. Is this normal? Thanks in advance Tom

I have the exact same problem! Also i have noticed if you're driving through heavy rain, it doesn't get wet, only when standing still

I have some on my '95 16v. had them nearly 6 months now and really pleased with them, plenty of drop and the ride is no worse than before (had koni t/a's and h&r springs before) Only issue that could maybe be related to them is that the front right creaks, despite having replaced the top mounts, wishbone bushes and ball joints. Hoping its the rear engine mount as i can't think of anything else!

Once you have the kr cam, it should be about even i would say? I have kr cam, stainless and a jetex panel filter and i'm making 153bhp according to stealth on my 9a...

They are looking good so far, i like how you have kept the original shape of the pods :) I'm looking to start something like this when my infinity's get delivered over the next week. I purposefully bought 6.5" so i had to improve upon the original pods  What are you doing with the electric window switch?

They actually aren't, had a quick scout into the garage to look at my dads and they aren't the same as on my rado! His aren't as round on the tvr...

Car: 2l 16v Corrado Exhaust: Powerflow I recently bought my rado with this system on it and the sound is great. Not too loud on idle and deep at around 2500rpm. At motorway speeds rather quiet, so i can't knock the noise, its excellent. However. The fit of it is rather poor, when i bought the car it knocked a little at the back which i thought would be the rubbers, but after taking it down to my local exhaust specialist (Zorstec) it turns out that the bend over the rear beam is nowhere near big enough and no amount of rubbers will fix it :( After further investigation, it turns out that the guarantee is only applicable to the person and not the car and it must be taken to the exact dealer where it was made (in my case a fair trip :( ) so i am left with am lifetime guarantee exhaust that they won't fix :mad2:

I went to stealth on monday to get my 9a set up. It has the kr cam, a full stainless and jetex panel filter. I got 147bhp at 6k if i remember correctly. What Vince said to me was that the 9a can be chipped although it is a primitive engine management, it is the kr that can't be chipped so must be set up with little tweaks to the CO etc. Vince told me that mine was running very lean at the top end and it would need a remap/chip tune to get it right at the top end.... couldn't afford it though :( Just my opinion from a professional! Also he said to stay away from ebay chips as they only alter the smallest amount of fuelling so that when engine is chipped, the ecu recognises it as a different map if that makes sense?!

Hi all, Just bought my first Corrado off this forum and im really pleased with it! Big thanks  to Shaun 'dubcharger' for selling up lol hes a really decent guy! Anyway onto the car, i have been set on a Corrado for a very long time, and my Golf just wasnt doing it for me anymore so i put the Golf up for sale and the next week it was gone and i had the rado on the drive. Pics below taken last night after a wash and polish and then a 100 mile round trip to Sheffield and back and i can safely say that the load capabilities are rather good after moving all my stuff out of uni  Pic of the golf... I shrunk the pics before uploading them so the quality is a bit poorer than i had hoped... I believe the car has a kr inlet? cam, full stainless exhaust, jetex panel filter and koni t-a's with h&r springs with 16 x 7.5 rh cups Plans for the future include some coilovers and uprated speakers Further into the future maybe a performance manifold and flowed head Let me know what you think... Tom :D
