Well, really landed on my feet over here. Was out of work for two weeks but managed to get a job that I really enjoy in Dumfries. Never even heard of the place! Anyway, will hopefully have another C under me soon!

So would I be better off looking to buy an engine instead of rebuild?

Well all, Im leaving Ireland in October to live in Glasgow. I sold my 16v a year ago and I've missed it badly ever since. I hope to buy one when I move over if money allows! I was just wondering what kind of tax I would be paying on a 2.0 litre and who would be the best company to try to get insured with? Also if anyone knows of any work going at any engineering companies around Glasgow. I'm a graduate mechanical engineer and my head is done in dealing with recruitment agencies! Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Nearly sure the connector is for the hanbrake light. The writing says classic green in german i think?

i had the immobiliser bypassed over a year ago. Dont know if that makes a difference!

Hello all. Im after a bit of help. My 16v starts first time every time its been left for a few hours but say if i stop for petrol and go to start it, nothing happens. The ignition lights come on but thats all. After a lot of tries it eventually starts. Does anyone know what the problem is?? Any help appreciated! Cheers

Hey all, My 16v just had its test recently and failed. It needs a steering knuckle and the handbrake isn't pulling on the right hand side. Just wondering is the knuckle an awkward job and if anyone knows what would sort the handbrake. Seized caliper or handbrake adjustment? Any help appreciated. Cheers!

Hello all, A few minutes from home this evening the temperature light came on in the corrado. When i parked it up there was steam pouring out from under the bonnet. After a look i found that the hose going from the top of the rad to the engine had deveoped a small hole. There was barely any water left in the car. The temperature light has been coming on a bit lately but ive just kept topping up the coolant. In traffic the temperature wont go above 90/100 degrees. Ive had the car a year and its my first corrado so im not that knowledgable on them! Will a new hose fix it or is the head gasket on the way out?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
