Hi guys, A friend of mine got holf of a 16v Raddo with no engine. He then got hold of a Mk3 Golf Gti with the 2.0 16v engine in it. He asked my advise and I recommend using the Golf engine, with the raddo box, wiring, manifolds, Mechanical injection system etc as this would be an easy bolt in job. He decided to go against this and use the Mk3 engine box, fuel injection system, wiring etc. He bolted the engine in and ran the looms etc but then got stuck. This is where I come in lol, I know my way around the wiring fairly well as have done a Mk2 Golf VR6 conversion last year so am fairly familiar with it and used to have a 16v so know the engine. I started last weekend and the thing was a mess, the whole fuse box was out and wiring looms all over the place. I have refitted the fuse box and connected all engine loom plugs etc. Have Mk3 ECU relay in and have been working my way through the bay wiring up. I got to a point today where its turning over, has fuel but no spark. I have a slight problem in identifying the coil pack plug as there is two that can go to it, One is for the coil pack but the other will be for the reverse switch. Can someone clear up which colour wires will go to the coil pack 3 pin plug. I tried starting it plugged into each of these but still no spark. Have many people done this swap in their raddos and if so what could I be missing which wolud mean I have lost spark. Thanks in advance guys.

Have an early master already so should be ok, have heard about this though. A friend of mine had this problem when theirs went. Cheers though mate.

Hi people, are the 16v corrados hydaulic clutch? I ask beacuse I need a Corrado Hydraulic pedal box which I thought was the VR models but have been offered a 16v one, will this be the same, Thanks, Phil.S

Hey people. Quick question, are there any other Corrado rads or VW rads which are the same as the Corrado VR6 radiators? I have twin fans seperate so they arent an issue if there different. Thanks people.
