    I got this off of the vwsport site, not sure whos car it is, but they running 18psi, 340bhp and the "cut and shut manifold" still looks in one piece. I get what your saying about going down the custom manifold route, but its the same story with everything, like the people who use standard pistons etc..


  2. well, what your all saying is true, and i have seen some custom intakes going around but in all fairness aiming for 350bhp with a shite load of low end torque isnt likely to blow the welds, i suppose its down to trail and error, but the 16vT that i have seen so far seem 2 be doing alright with the modified 1.8T mani, has it every happened to a TIG welded mani, or is it a assumption?

  3. Basically guys, you've proberbly all noticed my threads here and there about the 2.0 16v 9A Engine, im having a few issues and figured there are a few people on here that have done the engine, would like some help please lol..

     

    Basically im gunna be running standalone managment, iv hit a speedbump with the inlet manifold and injection system, im at a stand still on what will fit and will jus "bolt on". Iv been playing around with the idea of 1.8T inlet mani, fuel rail, reg etc..but not sure which audi or vw to get it from etc..bit baffled at this point..any help would be great..
