Oh and jus get sand paper on it etc start with a thick grade then just get thinner and thinner. The manifold on a vr is a massive partof the engine bay and it doesn't take much to make it look nice.

No it's actually the manifold as I took the plastic cover off. And yes I have a lot o do and no money at the minute :(

ok plans are goin to be........ cams fitted mx5 mirrors sprinter or t4 vent new door and wing (because of crash) respray in origional colour light smoke tints bigger brake upgrade then after that i think its got to be a supercharger! i want to give it a sort of dubbed look with the wide stance etc, but i also want it to be el rapido! so we will jus have to see how it goes!

its just polished mate. i sprayed the inlet parts with black hammerite and decided to polish the top. looks a bit different but good i think!

Well the problem is it was origionally an early 1.8 so there isn't a port.... Oh well I guess I got to change everything until I find out what the problem is. I'll start off with what you said first though. Thanks kev :)

ok i took it for a little drive this evening. i got in the car and started it up and noticed how much the exhaust is spluttering with a lot of fumes coming out (more than there should be) could this be that the car is running quite rich and therefore overfuelling causing it loose power? i also noticed my petrol went down quite a lot to! any advice?

........got the car back still lacking in second gear! i cant beleive it! ill take it out tomorrow and let you all know.

for a standard 2.8 anyway! hope to get into the 14s next time! anyway ill keep everyone updated on what happenes! :)

All the leads, plugs etc seem ok? Haven't checked coil pack tho. It's a strange miss it's not a missfire like it's running on 5 cylnders only a slight one. Obviously it's not as fast as it was. I really don't know what it could be? And I don't think it has. It was a conversion from an early valver so no diagnostics slot under the gear gaitor, which makes it a pain in the ass!

Is there anyway I can improve that compression without piston rings head gasket etc? Will the arp bolts help?

My car is running quite lumpy, possibly missfiring. Just wondering what the compression is meant to be at for an obd2? I think one of mine was around 150 and the rest were 160 ish any help would be good thanks

No its standard suspension mate. I have seen the 15 x 8" Schmidts on rimstyle.co.uk for the corrado but not sure if they will look right / fit ok? Thinking of lowering 30mm as the arch gap is huge standard! What you got on yours? i have keskin kt1s on mine mate 16x9 and 16x7.5 and its lowered 40 mm and rubs a lil bit. so i need to get my arches rolled too! your best off rolling the arches mate. doesnt make the car look any different and it doesnt cost much either!!

Is your car lowered mate? it all depends on that really. if its not lowered it wont rub on 16s. but if it is lowered i might rub a little bit on the back. depends how much its lowered.

take it to gamestation mate think its like 2 quid and they repair it for you.....same thing happened to my mates COD he nearly killed me when i did it! well.... i nearly killed myself! game night cut way to short!

what does the late fog light assembly consist of? or is this needed if you use your fogs...cuz i dont lol
