i had my heater matrix fitted and my gear linkage at the same time. it then started to work irratically. seems like the wiring is done wrong .

Easy Jim, yes i think its the belt, its a 1.8 16v, (waiting for insurance to allow me to spend all my cash on insurance on a faster model) so ill have it fixed. thanks everyone!!

so do you think that the dash will need taking out and re wiring again? thanks a lot tony.

well the liquid level is fine and had a new pipe fitted to carry the fluids so i guess thats ok, belt tension?

I had my car in the garage for some minor interior work and when i got the car back vie had nothing but problem with the electrics, the idiots that did the job (the have moved now conveniently) have left the car in a worse state than before. but anyway, the electrics are all messed up, ive checked fuses ect; what happens is, if the headlights are off everything works but if you turn the lights on the revs drop by half and the speedometer and petrol gauge all stop working asif someones flicked the off button. plus the oil light keeps coming on and beeping but i have had the oil filter and earthing changed! thanks a lot all help is appreciated.

Hi all, im having real big problems with my power steering, i took it into a garage to have the heater matrix done and i think they have done something trying to get it in. When i start the car its fine but if you turn left or right when stationary or moving sow it screeches really loud like it needs grease or something, but whats odd is when your driving at speed it doesn't make this sound, thanks a lot. don

I had my heater matrix and g.linkage cable done and all seems well until I got home, now if I turn my headlights in the electrics die but only some of them but if I move the little dimmer switch some start working, my windscreen wipers don't work and neither does my heatermatrix now, any help would really help! Oh I've changed few fuses but need loads if help from you lovely lot!! Thanks fellow corrado'ers!!

its all in the subject lol windscreen and seats needed. i would also like the windscreen fitted. any takers?

it starts about 7 times out of 10 but it just takes ages to turn over really like the ignition isnt woking properly, when its running its beautiful, 1.8 16v, peace

easy all im so close to my rado being my dream but what could you suggest with it not strtig 1st time evey time? what would it be and a price guide n e1?

it was some thing in the engine on cable apparently something rubber had snapped it was dead simple!!
