    .

The paint job is absolutely superb. I haven't read through all nine pages of this thread - did you do the paint? If not, who did? Well done, awesome car.
  2. Some new pics in the sunshine....
  3. Had a new rocker cover and inlet manifold gasket fitted today at German Auto Engineering in Portsmouth. Took this pic and thought some of you may be interested to see what (standard) VR6 cams look like. I'm not experienced in dismantling and rebuilding engines so this came as an education to me. Good chap is our Cornelius at GAE. He reckons the engine is in really great shape which was very good to hear! 95k miles.
  4. Well done you  to the messers and timewasters. Their loss, your gain.
  5. Cornelius at German Auto Engineering will know someone (he always does!). Find his number at http://www.germanautoengineering.co.uk They're in Portsmouth. Rumour has it that Cornelius (he's German) was one of the original team who built the Corrado!
  6. Cornelius at German Auto Engineering in Portsmouth has got my VR6 Storm running beautifully. Can thoroughly recommend him and his prices! http://www.germanautoengineering.co.uk
  7. Cornelius has a new website. The URL is http://www.germanautoengineering.co.uk He's just serviced my VR6 Storm and I can't believe how well he's got it running. Cheers Matthew
  8. Cornelius now has a website - check out http://www.germanautoengineering.co.uk
  9. Hi all, I know some of you have treated your Corrado to Cornelius' expertise at German Auto Engineering in Portsmouth over the years. Just to let you know that he now has a website at http://www.germanautoengineering.co.uk He's just serviced my VR6 Storm and I have to say that it's running like a dream. Any feedback on the site greatly appreciated. Cheers Matthew
  10. Hey Scarlet, you could do worse than get an insurance quote from Admiral on their multicar policy. I got my Corrado VR6 and Golf VR6 insured fully comp for a total of £380. It's best to ring and don't accept the first quote they give since when I pushed them, they gave me 13 years free no claims discount on the second car and the quote dropped a fair amount. You can chop in your existing policy to align the renewal dates of the two cars (and get refund on the remainder). I live in Lymington, Hants, down the road from you. You'll be able to hear the exhaust note from there! Enjoy your rides....
  11. Yes Irish, ye ol' Pistonheads. Did you have your eye on her?
  12. Ah yes, I wasn't counting those little changes  I noticed the rear badges being the other way around to some. I assume the alternative way around is standard? Since mine is unique then, it's got to be worth another grand hasn't it? It's running superbly after a visit to Cornelius at GAE in Portsmouth. He seriously knows his stuff. He's taking another look tomorrow since I think I need a new rear shock. Other than that, everything's in fine and working order. Wonder how long that'll last?
  13. My latest flame....hasn't had a proper wax yet but still looking pretty fine. 1995 VR6 Storm in Mystic Blue, 95k miles. No mods. And won't be getting any. :nono: Will post some better pics when the light is better. Cheers peeps
