  3. Hi looking for a set of 16" polished alloy wheels with or without tyres I need these to suit my 94 corrado which is 5 x 100 stud patern if anybody has any in very good condition please get in touch with photos.

    Cheers

  4. If it's a bone standard VR6 (from an engine mods point of view) then you could just send the ECU away to someone like DG Autotech for one of their off-the-shelf VR6 remaps. Got one in mine and it's very good! :)

Emailed DG and they gave me the idea that they only did on car remaps I will talk to them again, did the remap they did on your improve the midrange torque which is what I'm wanting to do. Have one high performance motor don't really want another.

    Hi Phil,

Jim is correct. We don't offer a remote mapping service due to wanting to check the car over thoroughly before mapping. All Corrados are at least 15 years old now and can have running problems that the owner isn't even aware of. At the end of the day we want them running as good as possible when they leave us.

Fully understand that as I say my other car is a 400BHP celica GT4. It looks as if I will need to convince the girlfriend she needs to go down south for a weekend sometime next year, the next question could your mapping session be arranged for a weekend and I would probably put the car into Mr VW for a diagnosics check before even coming all that way.

  6. I know AVA, had my Celica GT4 mapped there last year, didn't think they did VW as they are mostly fords and aftermarket ECU's like the Apexi I run in the 4, will drop Jamie a PM as he stay's just along the road from me.

    Cheers.

  7. I was hoping that one of the members oh here could possibly tell me how to disable the imobiliser part of the factory fitted logic 600 alarm system or where I can download a wiring diagram for this unit.

I have a problem with my car sometimes not starting. (it will turn over but there is no spark) this can happen at any time and once or twice the car has cut out when driving along. usualy the car will start after 5 or 10 minuets.

My garage say it is the imobiliser so I need to take this out the picture to prove them right or wrong.

    Thanks for your help.

  8. Thanks will order one of them along with the ECU relay and ignition relay.

Had it on a diagnostic and it showed a faulty speed sensor so fitted one of them but still haveing the same problem intermitantly so will try the above.

    Cheers

  9. It's a 1994 corrado VR6.

A couple of weeks ago the car cut out just as I was slowing down at a junction and wouldn't start at first but after about 10 mins it started and ran with no problems.

This time the car was running fine, I went in and filled it with super unleaded came out and it wouldn't start called out the RAC and he said it was the coil pack so towed the car home the next day i fitted a spare coil pack that was working and still nothing.

As I mucked about at one point when I had one of the plugs out the car started and was running a bit lumpy stopped the car and refitted the plug but back to having no spark.

I was thinking it might be the factory fitted immobiliser and was wondering if there was a way of disconecting it.

    Cheers

  10. Thanks for the reply.

With my car the car will turn over no problem, it's just seems to be that there is no spark at the plugs and I have tried changing the coil pack which made no difference.

    Cheers

  11. Hi

I'm a new corrado owner and appear to have bought a bit of a lemon.

The car is now a non starter there is no spark when cranking over and have tried to different coil pack with the same outcome, I am thinking it might be the immobiliser and I was wondering if there was a way of disconnecting the factory fitted immobiliser system.

Would br grateful for any help with this.

  12. The corrado I have recently bought seems to have developed a problem of cutting out from time to time, when this happens the car will not restart straight away but after maybe 5, 10 minuets the car will start and runs fine until the next time it happens which the last time was a week .

Any suggestion as to what might be causeing this.

    Cheers
