so whats the difference between the mk2 style balljoint and VR? apart from the pinch/thread set-up?

i mean could you use mk2 balljoints on the VR wishbones and have the above piece machined for a thread?

ok so just looking at a balljoint, i guess it wouldnt be as simple as getting a sleave machined up, thats threaded to take the balljoint, then tapers and is threaded to bolt up to the stock position? or would extended that begin to interfere with the back of the disc?

they threaded i take it?

not something that can be made out of billet i guess 'cos of the stress and loading

so get the inserts, flip the rods and fit the PMW extenders and jobs a gooden?

is it too much to hope that this would be the same on a mk3?

so these wouldnt work then?
